New York designer Cynthia Gale has been designing art-inspired sterling silver jewelry and accessories since 1991. Through her collaboration with Grateful Dead Productions, she has fallen in love with the history and music of this iconic band… and also their devoted fans!
For over 25 years, her sterling silver creations have been crafted by talented teams of artisans in Bali, Indonesia. Working with American cultural institutions from the Metropolitan Museum of Art to Washington National Cathedral to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Gale’s work is known for its distinctive design aesthetic and high quality.
In 2009, Cynthia was invited to design a bespoke, licensed collection of iconic Dead jewelry via Grateful Dead Production (GDP) to feature in the museum store for an upcoming Grateful Dead exhibition and beyond. As a lover of all music, from Rock and Roll to Jazz to Classical to Bluegrass to World, Gale accepted the challenge and created her first Grateful Dead, sterling silver jewelry collection featuring the band’s iconic artwork.
