    2013 Dave's Picks Subscribers-Only Bonus Disc Details

This jam-packed CD, featuring 75 minutes of music (almost 40 minutes of never-before-heard), includes one of only three versions of "Smokestack Lightning" from 1969.

This may be blasphemy to some of us on the forum, but I think this show was much better than the night before--the show on DP6 proper. However, will the rest of the show be made available in the future? Either via download or a future release? With Jerry screaming, "Wait a minute! Wait a minute! Wait a minute!" at the end, I waited, as ordered. And I waited. Then I waited some more before I realized the show was over.

    dave's bonus disk 2013
Received davepix v6 on Friday. Started listening with the bonus disk. WOW! The performance is very youthful. But hear this!-- Big Time Kudos to the engineers cuz the sound quality is impossibly great. Hard to believe it was recorded in 1969! A++

It appears that all this is missing is the NFA. Is that right? Seems like a short show but it was added to the original two show run and was a Sunday. I guess this means subscribers are getting virtually three shows with this release. Nice.

I have not got my copy of Volume 6 or the Bonus Disc as yet and am anxiously waiting details. If there are levies payable, just send an email to that effect and I will get it across to you. Regarding The Smokestack Lighting, I just can't wait! I hope it will be as good as the standard in Bear's Choice! A.Ashokan India aashokan@gmail.com 01.05.2013

I can't wait to hear this!! Thank you for putting these shows out to us. It is amazing to me that the Grateful Dead were so prolific, there were people who had the foresight and persistance to carefully record almost every show, and now people who are releasing it all to us. Wow. What a band. Like no other.
