    Grateful Dead Hour no. 394

    Week of April 8, 1996

    By request, the unreleased Grateful Dead concert of November 10, 1985. The first few songs of this show were posted a while back in GD Hour no. 393; we'll hear the rest in this week's post and next.

    Of particular note is the sequence of "Mississippi Halfstep" into' I Know You Rider." There are only a handful of electric performances after 1966 in which "Rider" emerged from anything other than "China Cat Sunflower."

    Enjoy!

    Grateful Dead 11/10/85 Meadowlands Arena, E Rutherford NJ
    CASSIDY
    STAGGER LEE
    IT'S ALL OVER NOW;
    ROW JIMMY
    FEEL LIKE A STRANGER
    MISSISSIPPI HALFSTEP->
    I KNOW YOU RIDER
