    ONE MORE SATURDAY NIGHT

"The Frozen Logger" is a funny folk song that the Grateful Dead tossed in during technical difficulty breaks and other odd moments. Fun fact: In the studio recording of "Truckin'" (on American Beauty), the instrumental ride at the end doesn't continue much beyond the fade-out; band clatters into waltz time and Bobby Weir sings the first line or two of "The Frozen Logger."

    Enjoy!

Every Wednesday, we post a program from the Grateful Dead Hour archives for your enjoyment and enlightenment. You can browse or search the playlists at gdhour.com or on the GD Hour Search page, and let me know what program(s) you'd like to hear by emailing me at gdhour@dead.net.

    Thank you for listening!
