    Grateful Dead Pumpkin Stencils

    Make your jack-o-lantern a little more grateful this year!

    1. Print out your favorite stencil.

    2. Carefully cut out the black parts. For the traditional Dancing Bear, you will need to cut out the white parts.

    3. Place over pumpkin and using a Sharpie, draw the stencil onto your pumpkin.

    4. Carve out the stenciled parts of your pumpkin.

    On the bear you cut out the
    On the bear you cut out the white, but on the stealie you cut out the gray areas. I have done bith of these without stencils and they turn out beautifully. With the bear I use an extra pumpkin to cut out ear shapes then make slots to stick them in so that the ears stick out.

    Oops . . . .
    It looks like whoever posted this stencil never actually tried to use it. If you cut out the white areas, the nostrils have nothing that attaches them and will come out with the white areas. :-(

I am going to attempt this with my daughter, hope it works out. When you open this to print the Band's name is misspelled as Greateful Dead! Ha. edit: They are indeed GREAT! The GOAT IMHO. Rock on!

Like Tony the Tiger said, "These patterns are Great", so grateful for them. They will be used in a setting in Tianjin, China as a means to introduce parts of American culture to Chinese people. Friday Night English Corner gathering....Love your site...God bless all!

It looks like whoever posted this stencil never actually tried to use it. If you cut out the white areas, the nostrils have nothing that attaches them and will come out with the white areas. :-(
