Furthur Concert To Air Live On Sirius XM's Grateful Dead Channel

SIRIUS XM’s Grateful Dead Channel (SIRIUS channel 32 and XM channel 57) is set to broadcast a live concert by Furthur, the rock band founded by Grateful Dead members Bob Weir and Phil Lesh. The concert will air Sunday, February 14 at 7:30pm ET, live from Cornell University’s Barton Hall. Barton Hall is the site of the long-revered Grateful Dead performance from the Spring of 1977, which some Dead Heads cite as the best ever in their long touring history.

Before the live broadcast, tune in to a special edition of Tales from the Golden Road, with Dead experts David Gans and Gary Lambert, featuring recordings from the 1977 Cornell show.

Saw them at George Mason last night.. Great break from dealing with the snow.. Just what everybody needed after being trapped in the house all week! Lots of fun hanging out with deadheads young and old. The band was really good and our seats were overlooking Jeff so we were able to watch him throw down on keys. Everybody enjoy Cornell tonight.. Seriously looking forward to listening to this one in front of the fireplace over some Belgian ale.. All you people going, make a lot of noise those of us in radio land can hear ya!!

With Kadlecik being in the lineup and his background with DSO (playing exact show setlists), it makes one wonder if there might be any of that tonight at Cornell in light of the historical significance. Just gimme set 2 in it's entirety from 5-8-77!!

i fixed my problem with inaudability from sirius after signing up for the seven day trial - i actually called the customer service phone number for sirius - and someone actually answered !! i don't care that it was someone in india, they helped me fix my problem ... for anyone using a mac and safari and having trouble getting audio from sirius - you have to install a plug in called flip4mac, then you will get sound, you can get it (free) here: http://dynamic.telestream.net/downloads/download-flip4macwmv.htm i hope everyone enjoys tonight's show ... whether you are there or digging it from home like i will be !!! beenWAYtoolongatsea

I agree....this is grate !!! I was fortunate to see the opening leg of this tour in Miami and they seem to be getting tighter and tighter each night...even though I would've loved to see John belt out SOTM I can only imagine that Bobby was singing out to his old friend....I'd rather be with you !!!!! RIDER !!!!!!!
