Welcome back to the Tapers’ Section, where this week we have Grateful Dead music from 1981, 1988, and 1989.
Our first stop this week is on 7/7/81 in Kansas City, where we have the end of the first set featuring Lazy Lightning> Supplication ; Bird Song > Looks Like Rain> Deal, a quintet of songs from Bob’s and Jerry’s solo albums.
Next is the end of the show from 6/20/88 at Alpine Valley, the second show of a four night run, featuring The Other One> Wharf Rat> Around and Around > Good Lovin', US Blues.
Lastly this week is the end of the first set from 7/15/89 at Deer Creek, the Dead’s first performance there, where we have Peggy-O ; Queen Jane Approximately ; We Can Run ; Bird Song.
