Welcome back to the Tapers’ Section, where this week we have Grateful Dead music from 1978, 1980, and 1991, three distinct eras in Grateful Dead history.
Our first stop this wee is on 5/7/78 in Troy, NY, at RPI Field House, where we have the end of the show, featuring Iko Iko > The Other One> Black Peter > Around And Around, US Blues.
Next is the end of the first set from 5/6/80 at Penn State, where we have this sequence of Lazy Lightning> Supplication; Althea; Lost Sailor> Saint Of Circumstance.
Lastly this week is the end of the second set from 5/5/91 at Cal Expo in Sacramento, CA, where we have Drums>Space>The Other One>Wharf Rat>Throwing Stones>Not Fade Away.

I don't usually bother to go negative as it isn't worth my time but...
this is possibly the worst chunk of 1978 Dead I have ever heard. Totally uninspiring. And I love 1978 Dead. What was going on there? Oh well, on to the next selection.
