Welcome back to the Tapers’ Section, where this week we have Grateful Dead music from 1973, 1978, and 1981.
Our first stop this week is the big jam on 5/20/73 at UC Santa Barbara Stadium, where we have this classic 1973 sequence of Truckin'> Nobody's Fault But Mine Jam> Jam> The Other One> Eyes Of The World> Stella Blue.
Next is the excellent first set from 5/17/78 in Chicago, the final show on the Spring Tour of 1978, where we have Mississippi Half-Step Uptown Toodeloo > Franklin's Tower ; Me And My Uncle> Big River ; It Must Have Been The Roses ; Looks Like Rain ; Tennessee Jed ; Funiculi Funicula ; Lazy Lightnin' > Supplication.
Lastly this week is the Dead’s start of their second set at their third and final show at Cornell’s Barton Hall at Cornell University on 5/16/81, where we have Shakedown Street>Bertha>Lost Sailor>Saint of Circumstance.
