    I see Dead & Co posted…

I see Dead & Co posted summer 2019 tour dates. I think there's 19 dates.

One thing to put out there since I've yet to see any review of the Dead & Co live CDs: I bough the 3 live dates from Feb 2018 of "Playing in the Sand". Sort of wish I would've just bought 1. While the music (as in instruments) sound good & distinct, the vocals sound like you're sitting in the last row. It's not just Weir's mic as it's the same distant hollow sound on Mayer's vocals as well. Oh well. Now you know. Purchase with caution.

I was really impressed with Dead and Co. last night. They may be the very best version of this project, certainly from what I've heard. I think John Mayer is an excellent guitarist, not as fluid as Jerry but who is? It's great to see Bob, Bill and Mickey so obviously enjoying the music. Well done to all involved, the musicianship is top notch and thank you for the opportunity to see it live. I'm in Ireland so it was magic.

"This @deadandcompany tour was magical. This band flourished in so many ways. To learn each others' moves as people and musicians, so as to support each other on stage and off made every night a beautiful adventure. I grew up a lone wolf in a bedroom practicing my guitar, and all I ever really craved was community. The community I feel now between my brothers and sisters in this band and crew, and the connection between everyone in the audience from the front row to the back, to those who listened from couches and cars, to those who come up to me and say more with their eyes than their words in their attempt to tell me what this means to them - I will never forget it, because I will never stop feeling it. We're together now. I'm honored to be one of many musicians in the larger community of the GDEU (Grateful Dead Extended Universe.) And it must be said - to Jerry: what a light you are that I could bask in your shadow. ❤️⚡️ love you all."

was pretty incredible, at least in the webcast. My friends who were there in person seem pretty happy too. Awesome playing, great setlist, great chemistry, great vibes. So glad that, in particular, those who didn't get to see Jerry did get this. It's online now, I hear; don't miss it.

I am not worthy... A 9 song, close to 90 minute first set, a blistering second set and Donna Jean.... Anyone who missed that is in for a real treat if they are planning on attending a Mayer n Sons show this Summer... only criticism is the cap Lil John was wearing, reminds me of Spanky from the Little Rascals... Will be at Deer Creek sportin' my Let Donna Sing t shirt! Ohhhhhhhyeahhhhayyyyahhhhhhayyyyyaaah!

Here, here my brother - well said. I was so blown away by the band - incredible "feel" they have now together...and John boy is a literal virtuoso on that guitar. WOW !!! Boulder is on the horizon :-)

Interesting, but I wonder why the author feels the odds are against the Tiger roaring? At any rate this promises to be a hot time in the old town tomorrow night! Anyone going to Cinci have a blast this evening!

Just saw Phil and friends at Capitol Theatre , 5/27/16 ,OH MY GOD , where have I been ,what have I been thinking , it was like someone woke me from a coma that I had been in , so sell everything I have and go to the next musical extravaganza ! Oh my god! Is it me or are they On Fire ,better than ever , and I saw the Help > Slip > Franklins " CLIP" at the end of the meet me at the movies (7/2/89) - SMOKING. LIKE I TOLD YOU WHAT I SAID S.Y.F.R.O.Y.H. Don't tell to many people or the whole country following the bands around and we won't be able to get tickets , So anyway. What have they been playing ? Love to all and everyone who's working to make these miracles happen, and THANK YOU! Chris

If its anything like Deer Creek was last night, watch out....amazing. Mayer is on his game, not hesitant, Bobby is young again, Mickey is hamming it up, Bill, well he's the drummer, Chimenti can make Brent blush, and Oteil....let Oteil sing, guess what he did....and sang well..... Dark Star audibled as starter of second set.....went higher from there.... Last Fall I represented out of obligation but didn't believe it would be more than a one off. This Summer, a new energy, a new confidence, a whole new band..... But where is Donna? I miss Jerry.....

Even though I was walking to my seat during , Feeel like a stranger so so so good ,and then that Here comes sunshine , Oh My God I miss Jerry ,but he must have been smiling down from heaven ,then it just got better, brown eyed women, Loser, little red rooster, Cassidy , Deal , almost 2 hours, like on fire. Second set. Never missed a beat Iko Iko, estimated > China> Rider> drums >space>Uncle johns band>the days between >Good love ! If they stopped there people would have been satisfied with the 3 and a half hour show , then it was like 1981 so the band came out did encore for Jerry Brokedown Palace, and it's like Bob said lm going to end this show the way it started with my song Johnny be Goode ,the band has the energy of a bunch of young kids they are tight , If you went to Hartford was the same thing except Saratoga was a Jerry (John) nite , Hartford was a Bobby nite,I hope you now what I mean . Both the band was smoking , just get to a show , because John maher is going to do his solo thing next year and I think this is the catalyst for these shows . Peace , love to everyone chris
