David and Romey Atchley have lived for 18 years in Alaska’s remote wilderness. Dutch filmmaker Floortje Dessing, host of Dutch TV’s Naarheteinde Vandewereld (To the End of the World) pays them a visit. With stunning cinematography by Renee Gerards, Floortje offers an extraordinary view into the Atchleys’ unique life. David Atchley (Spacial Anomaly on Dead.net) says: “During the filming, we took the opportunity to pay homage to the Grateful Dead and their role in our lives (the film crew were very excited about this and chose the Dead footage within the film) and would like to share it with the community. The message is good, the quality is there, and while the Grateful Dead and Deadhead fan base make an appearance, I think you’ll see the Dead’s inspiration more in the philosophy of life presented.”
