So... any soccer fans out there? Sad day, once again the US Men's team couldn't make it to the Olympics. At least we are kind of holding our own in FIFA.

I don't really follow sports much. But due to a bizarre series of circumstances, the first NBA game I ever attended happened to be as the unlikely guest of Franklin Mieuli at the very game when the Rex presented the check to Sarunas for the Lithuanian basketball team. It was a surreal moment to begin with, and then partying at halftime with half my friends in some backstage-type scene... Seriously not in Kansas anymore. It was great.

Golden State is surreal. Cavaliers will have to settle for 2nd fiddle again, if they get that far! Meanwhile, I've developed a fondness for the Colorado Rockies as my new favorite National league team.
Jays vs Rangers 5/15/16
What a game. Very fun to watch. But I think its funny how those pussies (Rangers) waited until the final at bat for Bautista in the final game of the season series to retaliate for the infamous bat flip in the ALDS last year. its cowardly if you ask me seeing as they wont meet again this year unless in the post season.
And hey how bout those Raptors. Now they can get pummelled by Lebron and the Cavs.

Hard slide from Jose and a quick right to the jaw from Rougned: that would have KO'd me! We'll see what MLB does with fines and suspensions. I really didn't think Jose's slide was out of line.The Raptors are a good team, blasting the Heat out of game 7.

The slide was illegal per this year's rules. Bautista knew it and acknowledged he was trying to send a message with the slide.Another way to look at it...Wait until the last at bat and you avoid retaliation so none of your guys get hurt during the series. Not sure I buy it, either but it is possible.
Actually...I don't even think it was intentional. The pitcher was a 30 yr old rookie in his 2nd MLB game, fresh out of 3 yrs in jail for DWI. He was not about to potentially blow a 1 run lead by putting the first guy on. He was nervous and a little wild.
At least it was not just a bunch of guys milling around and pointing!

Whoa! The Cavs finally showed up last night, winning by 30 over the Warriors. Cleveland fans can let out a sign of relief. Nothing like a victory to feel better about your team's chances in the finals. It's been since 1964 when a pro team in C-town won a championship (Browns won the NFL trophy, before the Super Bowl came around!). In baseball, the Indians are in 1st place: how about that!?! They're out on the west coast, so we'll see how long 1st place lasts. The Tigers are close behind and the Royals limp into Chicago after losing 7 games straight on the road, so far.

Thank you Cavs for bringing a championship to Cleveland after 52 years! I was in 7th grade when the Browns won the NFL trophy in 1964 27-0 over the Baltimore Colts.

Battle of the Birds Tues in T.O
Having to grind out some wins and squeak into the wildcard should bode well for the BJs. Look at S.F who have won it all by finding a way to get in the WildCard. I know baseball fans would probably like to see a Cubs/BoSox WS but I dont think thatll happen. Giants/Jays 2016. Go Jays Go!!!!

Great pitching on both sides, timely hitting and a walkoff homerun from EE. As a baseball fan you had to have enjoyed it. Maybe not that d-bag who threw a can of budlight on the Baltimore's center tho. Theres one in every bunch y'know. Bring on Texas...and Odor.

Tribe in 3?
Anxious to watch the Indians play and advance; however, the Red Sox could be tough, especially if Ortiz gets in some good swings. The Tribe has injury concerns, like missing 2 starting pitchers and 1 with a sore groin. Dang, I hate having a sore groin: no more splits!

Josh Donaldson really hustled home on the sloppy Texas defensive work (E4). Toronto must be rockin'!! Happy Thanksgiving, and bring on Cleveland!
Blue Jays
As a Red Sox fan I would love to see a Cubs Indians world series . With the cubs finally winning one. Yet I get a feeling we are about to witness another historic comeback with the Blue jays pulling off 4 in a row. Might just be fear more then feeling but I got that feeling during the 3 win buy the Tribe
Pitching
As much as I want to see the Tribe advance, their pitching staff vulnerability may be really showing. Starting Kluber Tuesday now proves to have been an unwise choice. We'll see how rookie Merritt does in game 5 today. Toronto is a strong team with 2015 MVP Josh Donaldson leading the charge. The ALCS could be 3-2 after tomorrow heading back to Cleveland. How about those Dodgers?

Strong comeback for the Cubs
The big black bear in my back yard last night was not a good sign. Arrieta showed why he won a Cy Young award last year. Zobrist and Schwarber provided the sparks. Kipnis had 2 errors and Tribe pitchers gave up 8 walks! On to Wrigley! As far as the Browns are concerned, I've been hoping and praying since their 2nd creation in 1999 for them to be able to compete and succeed. Ironic that Bill Belichek was the coach in Cleveland prior to Art Modell's team leaving for Baltimore in 1996.
