    2 Tix Needed For Honeymoon!
Never has my heart sankun so hard. I am disgusted with the explotation of this beautiful opportunity by these avaricious scalpers! It is what it is... and with that, I am looking for 2 tix for any night for my future husband(WharfRat) and I to spend as a once in a lifetime honeymoon. Never have I seen The Dead perform. I live in central Ilinois and would be willing to travel up to 2 hours to purchase tix. Godpseed To all on this journey with me.

I have something very musically valuable that I would be willing to trade for 3 3 night pit or field ( plus the face value of course). I also have several hotel reservations close to the stadium that are less that $200 per night that could get thrown into the trade. Pm me if you are interested. I was at the last shows and would love to twirl in the exact same spot this summer but I know it will take a miracle now. Oddly, I dreamed of Alpine Valley last night - a raging Fire on the Mountain with the sun setting. The dream was so much better than the day! Peace.

The reason no one can get tickets is the ticket brokers have super fast computers buy at face value and sell at outrageous prices, wall street does the same buying and selling stocks their is a name for these computers but can't think of it.Don't give in to theses "A holes" no dead head can afford it anyway. I have been watching the dead since "69" I think I only paid $4.50 for my first concert. As concert time comes near the prices will drop and if they don't this DH will buy the DVD and take superman by the hand and enjoy in living color!!!

What would he say (or the rest of the guys for that matter) if he could witness our desperate attempts to see one last show? I jumped through all the GDTS and TM hoops and came up empty-handed and broken-hearted. If anybody could spare 2 tickets for the 4th I would be eternally grateful. Please email me at jolson3932@yahoo.com Best Wishes to all!

Going to Santa Clara isn't even in the realm of possibilities for us but we're hoping that with the Santa Clara dates added, someone will be willing to sell us two tickets for Chicago. Any seats, any day. We'd prefer Sunday but beggars can't be choosers. Hubby has never been to a concert and it would be awesome for his first concert to be The Dead. Please PM me if you have tickets you're willing to sell for face value or slightly more. Thanks!

I live in Norcal and just found the announcement for the Santa Clara shows in my junk file. I am crying; I missed it entirely. I have one ticket for the 4th of July for Chicago coming in from Ticketmaster. I don't fly so had planned on taking vacation time and driving out from Cali to Chicago for that one last show. Will gladly trade that one for one over here. I am all of 3 hours away from Santa Clara. Just can't stop crying. I did not get the email in time. Any help appreciated. user name at gmail

No worries, lytweaver. You can be assured there are plenty of heads that will be happy to trade you Santa Clara for Chicago. I'm good for ducats, but I can assure that someone will see your post and will think you are their miracle! It will probably take some faith and logistics, but here's hoping you find what you need! Good luck!

Hi folks. I have 2 extra Chicago Sundays, Sec. 321, Row 7. I'm looking to trade for 1 Chicago Friday, and 1 Chicago Saturday. These could be separate trades. Got my tix thru TM, so I don't have them in hand yet. Was looking to make an advance arrangement to trade once we get to Chicago. Obviously, the better the view of your trade, the better. Hit me up!

I have my two $115 PO Mail Orders GDTS returned to me when I lost out on the Chicago mail order. I also have the "customer receipts" that come attached to each of the MOs. I DO NOT have the cash register reciept given to me when I paid cash for them. The Post Office is refusing to refund my money because I lack the cash register receipts. This seems rather unfair. I thought money orders were as good as cash? My name is on them, as is GDTS'. Anyone have this problem and/or know a way I can get my $230 back? It's bad enough to not get tics. Really sucks to lose my money too!!

Hey now. I have 2 extra tix for both SC shows (Sat section 106, Sun section 107) and am looking to trade them for 2 tix for each Chicago show. Will gladly add the $$ to face value to get all 3 Chicago shows. Preference would be for all 3 Chicago shows, but will be happy for 2. Like so many other worthy souls, we were shut out on mail order, CID and TM. My wife and I have been on the bus since '75 and still love dancing at the rail or at our seats to the GOGD (in any incarnation).

Hi, I was blown away by Grateful Dead Meet at the Movies! Jerry looked good and the boys sounded great! I am looking for one "magic" ticket to Santa Clara, Saturday and Sunday. How about a "miracle" three day pass to Chicago? Vince Originally from Connecticut, 1st show at Dillon Stadium in Hartford, CT, 1972. California since 1979, last Grateful Dead Show, Las Vegas 1995. Lots of super shows in between and onward, "The Other Ones" "Furthur" "Ratdog", Phil and Phriends, Thanks again, vincentbernota@yahoo.com

I was fortunate to lockdown 4 tickets to both nights in Santa Clara. Unfortunately, 2 of my friends have bailed and now have 2 extras for each night. They are both obstructed view, but am willing to trade for better seats (4 obstructed for 2 non) or even a below-face deal.

There is limited availability of 12 and 20 person Sky Suites for the Chicago Fare The Well shows. They are obstructed view but there will be big screens showing the band. The tickets are $200 and you must buy the whole suite. I don't know which dates are available but if you can round up enough buddies to do this it will at least get you in. You can contact them at suites@soldierfield.net and ask for information. Hope this helps!

I had the same problem with my Western Union money order. I took them to my bank and asked about depositing them into my bank account. They let me do it but said that they would have to place a hold on the money for a few days to make sure that Western Union would not decline it. After a couple of days I had my money and didn't have any problems.
