    Wow, cold at night!
    The rude calling card of changing seasons are the cold temps.at night -- like around 45 degrees! It has been so hot this year that it seemed summer would stretch on 4-evuhh... Alas, the wonderful warm shades of fall are ushered in on cooling breezes. ~ summer fades and seasons change same old friends the wind and rain we'll see summer come again ~

    check out the Perseids
    The Perseid metor showers have started and will peak on the night of the 11th-12th and the crescent moon will be setting early. I went out to try and see the northern lights that were supposed to come our way a couple nights ago. I didn't see them but did see over 20 shooting stars by midnight. The weather? Sunny and in the 70's.

    Short of AC Lilly...
    ...you can shut the windows and run a dehumidifier. Still noise and expense and electricity usage (quite a bit, actually) but it's not AC if that's what you object to. Stay cool. I strongly dislike the humidity also.

    Been measuring 99-100 degrees INSIDE
    Outside is even hotter, and at least the house give protection from the sun, butam feeling pretty yukky about it-like a 300 pound slug actually.     sunshine daydreams finally here
    after the rainiest spring in my 11 years on the Oregon coast it looks as though summer is here. The first couple days of Memorial day weekend were pretty nice though. Me and the doggie hiked to Blossom Bar in the Wild Rogue Wilderness area. It was only a four mile round trip but since Sheba is almost 17 years old it's about the most we can do. Am getting ready now to go climb a peak that's 3,040 ft. high and only 3 miles from the ocean. Spent a little time on the mountain Spent a little time on the hill Things went down we don't understand But I think in time we will

If you like fog, You're welcome to visit my neighborhood. Yes, folks, Pacifica, California does host its own annual Fog Festival each September in special honor of the dense, clammy, gray coastal fog bank which drops in when you least expect it - and makes you feel winter is just around the corner.We're right in the neighborhood near Devil's Slide on Highway 1. I'll see you at Linda Mar Beach!

Redbuds are profuse this year. Jack Frost has been good to us by staying away, so far. Today we have blue skies, scattered wispy thin clouds, with an expected high of 79 F. I planted 4 Better Boy tomatoes last night!! Last time I checked, Trifecta, Sierra Leone was on the Atlantic. like a steam locomotive, rolling down the track....

Ya you guys are right it is the Atlantic. This is what happens when you live in Asia where everything is about the Pacific. Anyway, i stand corrected. Sun just set and there were some torrential down poor coming in from the "Atlantic" and now it is just humid and as i write this message i am sweating my !@##$ off! I am over looking the ocean from my room at the Bintumani. The room comes with worn out towels, roaches, fuzzy TV and an occasional power outage. God i love it. Tomorrow i am going to Banana Island for the day.

Another beautiful day but a bit cloudy as we are heading into the rainy season here. Last night the sun set on Atlantic Ocean was breathtaking with purple and red spectrums blazing beneath puffy purplish clouds. Here comes the Sun King.

but not warm enough yet, it's only 66 degrees today. We opened the pool today its green and slimey yuck, needs lots of shock to make it sparkle!! Can't wait to swim!!

It's warmer on this side of the tunnel, Marye... but then again, it always is wamer in CoCoCounty than it is near the bay which is primarily why I left SF 30 years ago...

We have a SW wind blowing up from the Yucatan and Gulf of mexico which means HOT weather. In the mid 90's and humid broke several records. No ocean breezes. Spent Saturday with 2 friends who have seen the Dead several hundred times. Mothers Day made the wife her favorite French toast casserole and took her to see Harold and Kumar movie which sucked and then a nice italian dinner at home with the kids. I just saw the weather report spotlighting a T.S. named Bertha as has been seen by Mr. Pid, Candyman and you gotta take notice when a storm with hurricane potential goes by the name of Bertha.
