Grateful Dead

This show certainly sticks out in my mind as a legendary one! Not so much for the quality of the performance but because of the sheer insanity of the road trip. As has been mentioned there was a massive Oklahoma blizzard at the time of this show. An Oklahoma blizzard is not snow but ICE, ICE, ICE. Myself and two carloads of friends braved the icy turnpike to get to this show from Oklahoma City and barely made it. The show was sparsely attended but we all had a good time. On the way back to OKC one of the cars slid off the turnpike into the ditch but luckily it was the lead car and we all crammed into the second car for the crazy ride home. Talk about togetherness!
