my 2nd show and dosed to the gills
I was 7th row center with the three of us trying to maintain. We took two green dragons to drive down from the burbs. Immediately after parking, I was approached by a head in the parking building to buy two Mr. Naturals. It was such a great idea to save these two new hits as a surprise for when we got into the show. My buddy was approached by a different head with Phoenixes, and he bought two for a surprise when we got in. Highly dosed minds in sync I guess? We didn't have tix, but a dude (with his date not wanting to deal with all these crazy people) sold us his 7th row tix. They left to do something else? A third friend was found in line. We got into the Uptown and showed each other our surprises. We each did one of each of our acquisitions meaning we now were on 4 hits of blotter. Needless to say we were REALLY HIGH and dancing for us three in two seats was a challenge. Yes, I may not have been dancing, but it was the most incredible thing I had ever experienced. Jerry was telepathically communicating with me in the scarlet fire jam. That meltdown out of the other one into drums exploded by mind. I could not have had a better time. PS. Getting home by our selves was not easy. Took a lot of effort from all of us. Later, I learned how to dance while dosed to the gills at Alpine Valley. RIP Uptown Th.

We Sure Hope You Can Get Home By Yourselves
Yikes! A great show in a great hall, but the audience was the dullest ever! We snuck down to the orchestra seats to dance and we were the only ones. (Although I did see one couple get out of their seats and make to the aisle to DISCO DANCE during Sugar Magnolia! Remember, this is '78!) Phil came out at the end and said something along the lines of, "I'd like to thank the people in the front row for not moving a muscle all night -- I sure hope you can get home by yourselves." Glen
