Week of February 3, 1992
An almost-all-music show featuring highlights of July 13, 1984 at the Greek Theater in Berkeley, California. The audience (including me) was delighted when the band detoured through "Touch of Grey" on their trip from "Scarlet Begonias" to "Fire on the Mountain." And the encore that night was the much-missed "Dark Star," not played by the band since New Year's Eve of 1981 (and after this performance, shelved again until the fall of 1989). Also included is an excerpt from a 1986 KFG interview with Phil Lesh in which he explains the slide show that accompanied the return of "Dark Star."
Enjoy!
