There is a very special creation in our Grateful Dead world.
As many of you may have followed, Bob and I appeared at the Sundance Film Festival in support of the new movie, The Music Never Stopped. It's a film based on Dr. Oliver Sacks case study known as "The Last Hippie." Grateful Dead music becomes a catalyst and unifying energy that is at the heart of this story about a young man who has a tumor in his brain and his clock kind of stops in 1968. He connects with Grateful Dead music and visits us with Dr. Sacks at Madison Square Garden in 1991. This event connects him with his life again. The movie shows the power of music in a way that we are all very proud of.
Dr. Sacks, Jim Kohlberg and I will take questions following the film.
See you there!
In rhythm,
Mickey
