a very good night
A friend had seen the 1st show of the run and come away disappointed so I wasn't sure what to expect. This turned out to be a great show. The first set double-opener really got people going.
Great crowd energy for a Monday night.
The Uncle Tonys Band Night !!!
I'm Sitting with my buddy Tony before the show even started and he said "I really don't want to hear "Uncle Johns Band" tonight. I said "You know they're going to do it now" I used to make up names for Drums and Space this night Drums "Pulling Slimey Things Out Of Your Nose" Space "Hells Elevator Music" Check Out My Orignal Music at myspace.com/salaversano
1st show of the run...disappointed?!
I wasn't at this show...but I see above that somebody's friend was "disappointed" by the 1st show of the run? If he's talking about 9-8-91, his buddy really needs to get a copy of the cds, because that show absolutely smoked. Maybe some frat boys were yelling in his ear all night or something.
great recipe
the nights recipe was one pill of Ecstacy, one very tiny drop of squaky clean liquid, a bag of humbult county's finest & good good friends. This night was one for the ages. My cheeks still have a lil twinge from this night, cause of the grin I had on my face.
Another Birthday Show for me- Cosmic co-incidence #49
Black Peter, Deadhead Mike and I drove into this show @ MSG- we went to all of these shows and usually took the LIRR but this time Peter wanted to drive cos' it was my birthday- so in the parking garage we see a huge crowd of Deadheads crowded around some dude selling Nitrous and balloons so of course Pete and I had to imbibe-- Mike is totally straight and does no drugs- so we fill up a couple of balloons- fall down get wasted and make it to our seats for the first set- we are in the last row of the 200 section in the back and the aisle that goes all around the Garden is behind us and we noticed we have an empty seat next to me for the whole first set- we light up and enjoy the show and by the time the second set is about to start we were wishing that we had some more nitrous and some guy comes up behind us rolling a little hand truck with a blue cylinder on it and asked "is this seat taken?" We could not believe our luck-- he filled up the balloons we had saved we got blown away again and then he left- Cosmic Charlie is what we called him and we had some High Times.
