This is the first taste the world gets to hear of Hart sonifying the Universe and putting it down on record with his new band. Tim Hockenberry delivers Robert Hunter's lyrics with intensity on this scorching hot burner singing, "If you can't fix a busted heart, don't try and save the earth, I'm Slow Joe Rain". The song features guest appearances by Steve Kimock, Hunter himself, and vocal samples of Babatunde Olatunji. The Mickey Hart Band have also announced a live USTREAM webcast on April 4th at 6:30 PM PST/9:30 PM EST where they will be performing songs from their new album at Madrone Studios in San Francisco, CA. The webcast will begin with a debut stream of the entire Mysterium Tremendeum album while fans get to chat live with the band before they take the stage.
