Week of December 3, 2012
Fourth of five programs featuring the complete Furthur show of September 23, 2012 at the Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado. The first letters of the song titles spell out STEAL YOUR FACE, and the next song in the show was "He's Gone," which of course is the song that includes that phrase.
This and other Furthur performances are sold online (download or CD) by gnomesandhobbits.com. You can get the 9/23/12 show here.
Also featured in this show are another track from American Beauty, remixed by Mickey Hart in 2001 and just released (along with Workingman's Dead) as an audiophile download, and two wonderful new songs from the collaboration of Grateful Dead lyricist Robert Hunter and Americana music luminary Jim Lauderdale. The new CD is called Carolina Moonrise, and it's all Hunter-Lauderdale compositions, and they're all great!
