The Grateful Dead played this a few times in 1985-86. The version below is from 30 June 1985. More recently, The Dead have played it in 2004.
1) I think the Clapton version is "I was unknowing ..."
(2) The Clapton version is "I thought that love would wait" - I suspect Phil/Brent's line is a mistake
(3) Phil/Brent miss out the first half of this line
(4) The Clapton version is "You're gonna be all right boy, just as long as you keep on growing ..."
(5) Either Phil or Brent sings "Just you and me" while the other sings "Just you wait and see"
