Hello, and welcome back to the Tapers’ Section! This week we have Grateful Dead music from three very distinct periods in Dead history: 1969, 1978, and 1984.
Our first stop this week is 4/17/69 in St. Louis, where we have this classic Live/Dead sequence, plus a bonus of an added It’s A Sin slipped in: Dark Star > St Stephen > It's a Sin > St Stephen > The Eleven > Turn On Your Love Light.
Next is the start of the show from 4/19/78 in Columbus, where we have this classic 1978 first set sequence of Bertha> Good Lovin' ; Friend Of The Devil ; Passenger ; Candyman ; Cassidy.
Lastly this week is the start of the first set from 4/21/84 in Philadelphia, where we have Alabama Getaway> The Promised Land ; Friend Of The Devil ; Me And My Uncle> Mexicali Blues ; West L.A. Fadeaway.
