    3/27/72 Academy

1stShow - I came back to comment on Jerry's beautiful pedal steel playing on Looks Like Rain and you were already there. The China Cat and Cumberland were on the DaP bonus disc 2014. LLR debuted during this run and they played it every night, but for the rest of '72 I think played only 3 shows in Europe and 1 in July. It wasn't until '73 that LLR was a regular in the repertoire.

    Rochester

I think vitamin C and cocaine got bigger cheers and applause than Buffalo did during Truckin', lol.
    Cheers
Academy - L.L. Rain so sweet with Jerry's pedal steel. (and Phil on high harmony no less) And it's got a great Cumberland!

Welcome back to the Tapers’ Section, where this week we have Grateful Dead music from 1972, 1973, and 1991, all from various parts of New York state: NYC, western NY, and upstate NY.

Next up is the closing jam from 3/30/73 in Rochester, where we have this classic 1973 sequence of Truckin'> Jam> Space> Eyes Of The World> Not Fade Away > Goin' Down The Road Feeling Bad > One More Saturday Night.

Lastly this week is the end of the show from 3/25/91 in Albany, featuring Space > The Other One>Black Peter>Throwing Stones>Playing In The Band Reprise, Lovelight.

Be sure to join us here next week for more music from the vault.
