Grateful Dead

Due to a bunch of factors, I was backstage at this show. The Grateful Dead were playing the Opera House side of the Kiel venue. During a break, I ran into PigPen and started a conversation. Since I was familiar with the backstage area that was shared by the Opera House and the Auditorium, I told PigPen I had something to show him so we worked our way back through the passageways and I got us into the Auditorium side where they were putting on a "wrassling" show. The Auditorium was packed with "wrassling" fans, screaming and yelling. The ring was in the center of the Auditorium. PigPen got it immediately and was fascinated by the fact that they were playing on one side of Kiel and "wrassling" was going on on the other side. We stood there, fascinated at the spectacle and then went back to the Opera House side. We talked some more and that was it, we shook hands and he left to take the stage.
