Grateful Dead

At the time, saw the Dead at Crisler Arena in Ann Arbor and I just couldn't give them up. Drove by myself the next day to Cincinnati and stood on a street corner asking for tickets. A freaky looking Head went by and looked at me (middle aged straight looking woman) and said "you don't look like a Dead Head" and I said " you just NEVER KNOW!" I scored an excellent ticket and tho I never remember details of the shows it was worth minute away from that lovely job.

this show was highly anticipated. Drove from the house in Indy,early to catch the reds-giants game in the afternoon before the show. cloudy and damp.. Have never heard a better Blow Away.lots of deadheads at union station for a couple of days before the show. Pretty good opening to the 2nd set with China>Rider,LL Rain,Eyes . One of the many good ones from '89
