saw one of the two shows, thinking the Saturday show. rode out from the beach with rusty's older brother driving his dodge van, and think Robbie was along as well. we dropped acid or mescalin as a rule... ian Anderson and tull impressed, ian whirling around stage and striking his one-legged pose. think this show was with tull's original guitarist, first album stuff, more bluesey. Butterfield as great, blowing his harp, with elvin bishop and mike bloomfield going off on guitar... they jammed east-west. Dead were the definite climax. Playing their classic early mix of blues, soul, and acid rock; just kicked ass, culminating with Pig's fireworks show!
