    encore...
I was very close to the front for the entire second set and when the encore was coming to an end, jerry just stook there transfixed by the entire stadium singing, "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds"!! Bobby had to grab jerry as he went by to get him off of the stage! But to hear the whole stadium singing LSD WAS transfixing...!!

A couple of people got hit by lightning during one of these shows. A great storm in the desert.

One of my best friends just passed away and his fondest memory was making this my first show. The weather brought an extra electricity to the venue and he showed me a beautiful light. Hope he's found another beautiful light!

Just the place for a poor boy like me. Bumped into my buddies from the old world of the midwest, can't quite recall exactly but think after this nights smokin' show we went to the Aladdin theater for a midnite show...S Kimock's band Zero opened for the Radiators...Zero good but EXTREMELY mellow and I found myself studying the ceiling tiles, then the Radiators Hot 'n Smokin'! "If you didn't come to get it on, get yer dead ass home." Aladdin staff very laid back, had vending booths set up in the concourse, dress code relaxed. Take me back! Wanna do it again!

I took a friend(his 1st show) to these shows and we damn near got hit by lightning while we were partying in the parking lot. Someone did get struck by lightning a couple of cars down from us in the lot. All we had was am/fm in our rental car so we were listening to the local stations. The local radio DJs were talkin trash bout all the hippies that came into town. I remember it started to rain on the way into the parking lot and the local dj said "it smells like wet dogs at Sam Boyd". Regardless of lightning and dipshit DJs....I remember having "such a good time" at these shows. "Emancipate yourself from mental slavery...none but ourselves can free our minds"

Thought it was 92 with the lot hit by lightning, sounds like maybe I had too much too fast in 93. Most likely I was puddle stomping in 93 when lightning was crackling and I was a cackling. Yeah, wasn't the Aladdin a nice place to finish up a day? the Rads were pumpin' the juice! Bite the head!

The lightning in '93 added to the amazingness of shows in the desert ... remembering hearing lucy in the sky with diamonds gives me joy. haven't been to vegas in a long while and no reason to go now...nothing will ever stand up to the memory of '92 and '93 when it was taken over by deadheads.

We were there for Sting and then we decided to stay a little longer because the people had lots of treatsThe thunder and lightening storm coincided with Drums/ Space and for sure Hart and Billy jammed with the nature as it was My recollection is that a good many of us in the Phil Zone were levitated during Lucy Sky Diamonds
