My 3rd Show
We had floor seats on Jerry's side like 3rd or 4th row AMAZING SHOW!!!! My first Shakedown!
Speaking of this version of 'Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues'....
Interesting how the earlier versions of this Dylan cover have a much slower tempo than the later ones. Phil is quite exhuberant here.
As he finishes the line about "....as she leaves you howling at the moon," he turns things over to Jerry for the guitar solo by yelling, "Garcia!" Never heard anything like that before.

Spent the whole show in jail!
Got picked up for trespassing for sitting in front of one of the doors. In a cell next to other criminals, such as a jaywalker. Slept for five hours and was bailed out by my friends. Good feeling to get out of there and truck on up to Rochester. After thinking a little more about the actual charge, it was "disorderly conduct..." Kind of a lame reason to put someone in the clink.
