    Easy access
I remember rolling into town early and going over to the Civic Center during the day. We were able to walk right in and sit in the stands while they set up. We should've hung around for the soundcheck. We must have travelled from Lake Placid when it was dark. I remember driving and being really tired. We stopped at a rest area so I could sleep for awhile. I woke up behind the wheel, thinking I was still driving and panicked. I grabbed hold of the wheel, only to realize we were actually parked. This is one of my favorite east coast venues. There was always so much energy at Maine shows.

What a drive from Lake Placid!
It was just the right time to be traveling through the mountains of Vermont and New Hampshire. All the leaves were in peak color. Being from NC I always thought that our leaf change season in NC was the best but let me tell you I have never seen anything like those colors that year! Dougles
