    ah yes, the early show. I had 3rd row seats with mine lining right up with Jerry on pedal steel for the Riders set. What a great night, what a great weekend.

    SUNY Stony Brook
    I was a sophomore at Stony Brook in 1970...a long time ago! These concerts were held in a small college gym, with roll out seating along the sides, and there were probably a few hundred people at the shows, at most. The late sets ended the following morning, most everyone was tripping and it felt like the band never stopped playing for two days.

The location for the four shows on 10/30/70 and 10/31/70 are incorrect. They were not in Ashland, OR, but at the State University of New York at Stony Brook.

This was the closes thing to being at an ACID TEST as you could have had. The music and the people were great.
