First show for me
I remember hearing "New Speedway Boogie" as we walked into the Field House. The Dead were doing a sound check. One of the opening bands was called The Devil's Kitchen. They had a really good drummer.
Once in awhile you get shown the light.
Correction
Hello: This was my first dead show and it was memorable. Lots of music from Terrapin Station. This venue was not in Cincinati Ohio however. This show was at the Field House at Senaca College in Toronto Ontario Canada. The location of this concert has incorrectly been posted for years now. There were very few Canadian shows - for some reason this trend is continuing with Furthur. Only Canadian shows for Furthur have been at a couple of festivals (Jazz festival in Ottawa and one out west - Calgary I believe it was a folk festival) Really love their shows - have seen four, but it would be great if they played Toronto - 5th largest city in North America.
There are 4 Field Houses plus a Fieldhouse
This particular venue in Cincinnati did host a Grateful Dead show on 4/3/70. The 11/2/77 show was at the Field House in Toronto, ON. The other 3 are in Middleton, CT (Wesleyan, CT); Troy, NY (RPI) and in Iowa City (U of Iowa).
