My friend, David, who turned my on to the dead was in his 2nd year. I hitch-hiked from NYC in 8hrs...record time! The thing I'll never forget was getting in to the venue. We were pretty close to the front of the line when some Bozo decided to open the wrong doors! There were people pushing from both directions. It was 30 minutes of intense pressure. Got my trip off to a rocky start. I think that might have been the best Weather Report I saw. I remember the green glow stick twirling around!

Win some, lose some. This was my first show and karma was with us. It was a little chaotic when we got there late, as people were achin' to get inside. My friends and I kinda cheated by snaking single file along the inside of the line, and just as it started to move, we found ourselves at the right place at the right time, in front of the door the bozo opened. We ended up 4 to 5 people from the stage. I'm still trying to find a copy of the first set. Does it even exist?
Did they really have glowsticks in "73 though? That I don't remember.
1st show for me

This was my first show and looking for tape/cd.
This was my first show. I was 18 years old rode a bus from Rogers, Arkansas to Green Bay to visit some friends and we drove down to see the show.
Was hooked and never got off the bus.
Would love to get a cd of the show on November 1, 1973 at Northwestern.
Thank you and peace to all.
