In Rock Scully's book LIVING WITH THE DEAD there is a misidentified photograph (one of many!) of a beardless Jerry with a cigarette in his mouth and strumming his guitar. Bobby is next to him. In the background is the stands of Temple Stadium.

I was ending my Freshman year in high school. I was 14 years old. The night before this concert I tie-dyed a brand new white t-shirt in three colors, just for this show. My Dad drove me and a buddy to the show.The show was great! It was in Temple Stadium, an outside venue. The stadium is no longer there, but all my memories are. I saw Pigpen.

G,Rexroad Steve Miller was sensational, the Dead were even better......Jimi could have stayed home as good as he was....the Dead sold me that day
