My first New Years shows! Took the 7 Haight. WooHoo!

This was my first West Coast Show and first of 4 straight New year's runs. The venue was cool and so were all the people. This show was OK. Day tripper was a fun surprise..

I was late flying from Miami to San Francisco. I threw my backpack in an airport locker and jumped in a cab. My heart was racing on the cab ride to the auditorium. I arrived during 'down in the bottom' I think...met up with east coast touring buddies on the floor.The only New Years run I attended. Cool venue and good shows to be sure. My first trip to San Francisco.

And, come to think of it, only NY run...

Was anyone here on the flight from Newark to Oakland for these shows. On peoples express airlines? We took that flight over, so many of us that once the plane was in the air and the seatbelt signs were turned off it became pure bliss. All of the heads on this 1 flight started to roll up fatty's and we proceeded to smoke our way out to new years. At one point the captain came on and made a announcement regarding us smoking pot. Something to the effect of if the pot smoking does not stop we will met by the proper authorities in Oakland. Big mistake because everyone decided it was best to have no pot on us when we got there and as I recall we finished what we had before we landed. There must of 2/3 heads on this flight. We had this older women sitting next to us and she said to my friend do you mind!!! To which we replied not at all and rolled our last fatty. I remember before we started smoking the stewardess came down the isle serving beverages and when asked us what we wanted we said a six pack please. Which we got. Hope some else here was on that flight
