Forty years of being a DEAD HEAD
Really Good Show. Had to get used to the Large Crowds. After the show we were heading back to the city, A police officer came up to me and ask if I could give another young man like myself a lift back to NYC. I said sure he went and got this guy who turned out to be blind. He went to the concert along from Queens. We gave him a ride back to his place. Great show, Great music, Great people.

after a great night at the stadium, small and cozy, we found there were no longer buses going to 'the tubes' - the train returning to NYC.a load of DeadHeads, me included, got on a bus and shook it back n forth and convinced the driver it would be easier to go a few blocks out of his way. He did, we escaped from NJ. and a great time was had by all (except maybe that poor bus driver with a load of stoned dead-charged freaks)

I have an original Poster from the July 18th 1972 show. I will be posting it on Ebay. Would be wonderful for the Deadhead who attended this show. It is in good condition, it has been under plastic on the wall. Tickets were $4.50 and $5.50. It measures 17" wide by 24" tall. It is black and white and features a band photo with Pigpen, Jerry, Bill, Bob, Keith and Phil. The photo is surrounded by an explosive cloud. There is a round logo at the bottom left to exercise the power of 18 and vote.

Changed My Life.!!! I won the tickets on a Local Radio Station while I was Living in Brooklyn, New York! W___??? I don't Remember the Station Call Numbers as I don't Remember a lot of thing Back Then, but Cousin Brucie was a Main DJ. I Know That Quaaludes Came on the Scene which is Why I Don't Remember! All I can Say is UN-Frikkin' Real! What a Show, What a Time!!

Waited 8 hours in line for tickets with my kid brother. $10.00 bucks each with a 4 ticket limit. We only had enough for 7 tickets. Right after the Europe 72 tour. They played everything. Jack Straw at sunset still sticks out in my memory.
