My Last Dead Show
this was it folks, my last show, somewhere around #200 spanning 1967-1995....
My last show also
Things felt weird, not the same. 80+ shows '76-95. Happy for what I saw. Thanks Jer
My First, My Last
This was my first and my last show. I was so young, but it made such a great impression on me that's lasted life long. Met some great people there and had the time of my life! Especially when my dad put me on his shoulders and announced to the crowd waiting to enter the stadium that it was my first show. Everyone went nuts :) Thanks to everyone there and especially to the band! RIP Jerry
my last dead show
a very good show...woke up the next morning to the news that my father had suffered a heart attack
a good one
my last show as well...woke up the next morning to the news that my father had suffered a heart attack
My Last also
My last also. Kinda bumming but as I remember, my kids were young and the scene was really obnoxious in many ways. The kids were running amuck and stealing shit and breaking down doors. Wasn't that fun. Wish Ol Jerry was still around
My Best Memory of My Dad
Two or three of my cousins, me, my dad and my uncle went to this show. My cousin got a ticket to go to the show for his birthday, and I was told I was going also. I was only 13 at the time, and had to write a letter to my teachers telling them why I would be missing class on that Friday. One of my teachers was a deadhead and was blown away when she read it. It was still the best time in my life, aside from the birth of my children. My dad died of a heart attack 6 years after the show when I was 19. I still listen to this show to connect me with a time when we were still together. RIP Dad, and to Jerry who continues to bring us joy even after he is gone.
