I have been snowed in for several days and so have not been able to get to the post office. Apologies for not sending out this vine. Managed to get to the food store today with snow chains on, but the Post Office will have to wait a couple more days. It will be worth waiting for though :-)

Good luck surviving the big snow, CB: I see on the bbc where much of Europe is paralyzed. Evenin Switzerland, heavy snow has cut the flow of lorries through Alpine tunnels. In the central US we've had a long spell of sub-freezing weather with heavy snows. I'm taking leave and going skiing in Steamboat Springs, CO for a few days. Don't think I'll need tire chains....

i've let hal know, and i should probably let those of you waiting patiently for emmylou- i'm snowbound! can't get to the post office! can't even get to my mailbox and it's only 15 yards away! the snow is so high i had to shovel snow off the grass so my poor hound ripple can do her thing! anyway, as soon as i can i will get emmylou and friends back on the circuit. caroline
