Welcome back to the Tapers’ Section, where this week we have Grateful Dead music exclusively from Alpine Valley Music Theatre in the 1980s.
Our first selection this week is all that exists in the vault on master soundboard tape, from the Dead’s second appearance at Alpine (their first was in 1980), on 7/11/81, where we have Lost Sailor> Saint Of Circumstance> Ship Of Fools; He's Gone> Truckin'> Drums> Space> The Other One.
Next is the entire first set from the second show of a four night in 1988, from 6/20/88, where we have Jack Straw; Box Of Rain; West L.A. Fadeaway ; Stuck Inside of Mobile With The Memphis Blues Again ; Loser; Cassidy> Don't Ease Me In.
Lastly this week is the start of the second set from 7/18/89, where we have this cool sequence of Sugar Magnolia> Scarlet Begonias; Man Smart (Woman Smarter) ; Eyes Of The World.
Be sure to join us here next week for more music from the vault.

Wow thank you so much for this Alpine 88 set! This show has never been available before on soundboard so its amazing to hear it for the first time, brings back such great memories of that hot summer in the Midwest. What a fun set! Please post more from this Summer Tour 88, as well as the year before, especially from Alpine 87. Thanks again!
