Forty years of being a DEAD HEAD
Arrived in San Francisco after sailing for a few months as a Merchant Marine. Always wanted to get to SF. Could not be better, first time on the West Coast, pocket full of Money and Rocking to the Grateful Dead. Life was GOOD. The Show was awsome.
11 November 73

Spanish Jam
one of the best
Just heard this for the first time, and in terms of overall energy and commitment, it is one of the best. Jerry's singing is magnificant, and the Dark Star-Eyes-China Doll-Sugar Mags is a jam for the ages. Fantastic encores too.
One question. Where does the first set end and second set begin? Can't tell from the CDs.
WRS / 1/2 Step
I believe the Weather Report Suite ends the 1st set, and Miss Half Step kicks off the 2nd set festivities.
My First SHow
This was my very first Dead show. No wonder I was hooked so quickly!
A great one....for my first year of taking in Dead shows!
Great song selection...love this one. 2/9/73 was my first show. I caught Old and in the Way in October at the Boarding House. Garcia & Saunders, Kingfish, and many others in 73 and 74. Best of times!
