    Parking lot 1st night. Not
Parking lot 1st night. Not as a LOSER, but I was so excited and I didn't tickets were sold out for the first night...it was my first time away from home making my own travel arrangements! 2nd night..with tickets! Morning Dew after the sweetness of the Haight Ashbury Free Clinic folks. Still remember picking up the vibe through the radio station as I was arriving on the Hoover Dam area by lake whatever during the night feeling like my life was about to change forever...and it did. SIlver Bowl
Caught the 91 and 92 runs here. Easy to access from about anywhere because of the remote location. The 91 shows we were able to camp right outside the venue. Next year they didnt let us nor did we want to. (went to nearby Lake Mead.) Lots of dust, wind and good vibes.

I sat to the side of the stage(left) And had the honor of meeting Bill and he chatted with us for about 5 min. He seemed very down to earth! We also chatted with the Santana clan. I drove out from Chicago for these shows and was not disappointed! It was hot and folks where dropping like flies but I loved the day shows!! I also have to say that I really enjoyed the Birdsong. Over the 2 days and 12 hours of music I had a blast!

Last time Seeing Jerry almost ruined by asshole buddy not paying camping fees and us getting rolled by the MAN for a$28.00 parking tab in his parents Big $$$ RV Luckily He just took our stash made us pay our tab and requested that Las Vegas and The state of Nevada demand we return to SOCAL post haste. Well we was outee any way so we used up what Smokee(no pun ok yes I'm punning here) didn't find and enjoyed the rest of ride home Happy B-Day to me

<+++< BEST SHOW EVER! I had tickets waiting for me on the Band Guest List. Got to pay forward the miracle from the year before. Met up with the coolest gal...I had the apparatus, she the grub. Danced in the rain as the show opened and boogied to Scarlet Begonias with my new pal (don't remember her name, but she gave me a lovely crystal pouch which I later graced my dying grandfather with---if she's here and remembers, I'd love to chat sometime) It was hotter than hell that time of year and I'd never go to Vegas again if you paid me, but those memories are golden! Peace.

I was up in the last row in the back of the Silver Bowl when they played Lucy in The Sky with Diamonds and watched a phenomenal lightening show play across the desert floor.

Each year they were having these shows a few weeks later in the season. Eventually it was like June and the heat was sweltering! People were dropping like flies with heat, in the second set they turned on the firehoses! WOW!
