Just me wearing my traditional hat, I went to dead shows with that hat and it kept me cool in the desert in Nevada, and Arizona.

Interesting article. Years ago, my albums included some of those you mentioned, Blair, as well as Debussy's LaMer and some Rachmaninoff played by Van Cliburn. I have kept a strong classical music interest over the years. I like Johnson's "Dead Sympony". He conducted the Russian National -a world class orchestra by all accounts. I would like to see what comes of Weir's ambition to take this "furthur".

Structured Improvisation
This sounds like it has been an incredibly educational and hopefully motivating experience!
I am reminded of my career experiences in digital graphics (specifically tradeshow) in which we are somethimes given artwork (sometimes not) which we must form into acceptable, legible signage informing people of everything from complex schedules to directions to restrooms to show identity.
Throughout the process these graphics are proofed and checked multiple times by account managers, association personell, even final production before the final product is displayed. It's a piece of art (read creative inspiration) that must be correctly structured, in fact nearly perfect, before it can be consumed.
I will be fascinated to hear what this new process brings to the future of aural stimulation!!
