to all who vist this site. It has been wonderfull to get to know so many of you and even meet some of you. Another chapter in life's journey. Joy, peace and love to all. If the doors of perception were cleansed, everything would appear to man as it is, infinite. William Blake

Started my holiday vacation today. We're sitting here with a foot and a half of snow! Not really used to that here in VA. It's been thirty years since we've had this much snow here in December! Everything's shut down. The really ironic thing is that we have a friend coming in from Wisconsin to spend Christmas "down south". We haven't been able to pick her up at the train station but she is safely in a motel and we'll be able to pick her up tomorrow. Probably not what she expected! Anyway, Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas, Happy Kwanzaa and a great Winter Solstice to all! Oh yeah, Happy New Year too. Be sure to enjoy some tapes of vintage NYE shows!

... Hope you daughters are having a nice holiday. I just walked into a JC Penney and saw J. Garcia men's dress shirts along with J. Garcia ties. Now, I'll admit I used to wear black t-shirts. But, when it came to men's fashion, Jerry was not my role model. I know, I know -- it's a big joke. I get it. As long as Jerry would have approved, I guess. ~ The current fashion sets the pace ~

Everybody! Don't know 'bout y'all, but personally I am NOT sad to see the back of 2010, and am welcoming 2011 with open arms.********************************** I am not young enough to know everything. Oscar Wilde

I'll tip a glass of bubbly to all of us in anticipation of a happy new year! The setlist from Furthur last night looks terrific: tonight's show is on XM Sirius, live.

Here in the lovely Bay Area, they're lighting the Bill Graham menorah in Union Square, the Christmas tree's up at the Fillmore, and it's mere weeks until the Dead and Co. shows.
