I'm GUESSING the gdts pre-sale, and the dead . net pre-sale are different. same same, but different. I'm GUESSING the prices will be the same, but that gdts's service charge is cheaper than tic-master http://www.gdtstoo.com/GDTSTOOTheDeadSpring09.html AND the mail order tix are 'pretty' with cool graphics on em. I'm HOPING and praying the dead .net pre-sale will be online. everyone is confused, so listen to the music play! the clock is ticking!

granted it is easier keeping the tix outta the hands of brokers/scalpers, but what a pain in the ass! in this day and age they can't come up with something easier? that being said, i have no idea what that would be....

Is the gdtstoo site affiliated with this site or are they different? In other words, is mail ordering for tickets through that site the only way to get them, or will there be a seperate online option here? I'd MUCH rather do the online thing. At least you know you have them (or not) rather than tying up loads of cash and hoping you get them.

where are these ticket prices posted? Granted I could be more computer literate, but what the heck I'm glad to be able to do as much as I do up here in icy Alaska. Must agree with most folks that 50 to 70 bucks is about normal for concerts mild compared to what it is going to take for me but may not get too many chances- hoping to hit the old stomping grounds and do Greensboro, DC and C-ville (?) hot damn that ought to be cool!

doing what we do to live the life we lead and see the band we miss. over about 7 hours yesterday, I played 50 games of 8-ball, winning 34 in all. 'coincidentally', winning the higher bet games. he he he... ( -; getting that cash to beat that dead show jones, though my shoulder is in knots and my bum hip is aching. peace.

if the pre-sale is only through mail order that will really suck for those of us who cannot deal with the post office in the US and have no fixed address to get mail. ONLINE, PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! pretty please with sugar on top. ( -; to the people in the office: information about how the pre-sale will work here on dead .net would be nice, folks. I ain't asking for secret pass codes, just info. what one dude said about not being able to tie up that much cash in mail-orders HOPING to get seats rings true. in this day and age, we can pay for what we can get, but shouldn't have to send out cash and not be sure we will get tix or not. peace.

    Remember in Festival Express?
What a great documentary of the 1970 rock train tour of Canada. The footage was almost lost, in part to the fact that some thought that the bummer of the tour, the controversy regarding charging anything for tickets, would dampen anyone's desire to check it out. Luckily it was found and restored cuz the music and atmosphere on the train was really on the bus. I remember how young Weir was and how upset. Over all these years I've NEVER felt ripped off by the Dead. Just Grateful.

probably the Going Furthur topic would be your best bet.
