"I am sure the guys are invested in the same markets that most people are that just took a big dump." If that's the case then they should realize that we just don't have the money. We hadn't planned to do alot of shows...just the ones in Philly, but with only one income due to my losing my job back in August, $400 is just out of our reach...we've got more important things to spend that kind of money on...like housing, food, utilities....just the basics... They've sold us out...

Ha-Ha-Ha..... why are you so suprised about the fact that brokers (a.k.a $calpers) have tickets before the pre-sale? ....... It'$ a mu$ic bu$ine$$ Tour packaging....Vip Packaging..... Ticket Brokers.... Ticket sale manipulation. ~Can't stop the Greed~

For $100, they'll be doing it without me. I'll wait to see Phil or Ratdog for $60 at a club, rather than spend $100 for the distant arena experience. This will be the first time I am missing a "Dead" tour in 25 years. I was planning on at least three shows, and taking my wife to a couple. But times are tough, and if the band doesn't understand that, than I don't need to contribute to their pension plan. In this economy, it's absurd for them to charge that kind of money, if the arena's are making them pay that kind of overhead, than they should wait for the shed season. $200 for a pair of Dead tickets is absurd. Good luck with the tour guys, you'll need it. Bleedin' Out http://bleedinout.blogspot.com/ Punk Rock , Garage Rawk & omfug

People should have seen this coming. I am sure the guys are invested in the same markets that most people are that just took a big dump. Surely they can't play until they are 100. I am disappointed and have cut my tour down to only two shows, but I will get the "price 1" level tickets and hope that I can see the rhythym devils and some bobby kicks...but I doubt it.

What are the Boys trying to do?
I understand it takes alot to move a show from town to town. I also know it's nice to get paid to do something you love to do. For me and I know 95% of Deadheads do tour for the love of the music, not for the love of money. Sure we sell things on lot, but that is to get to the next show, not to retire on. If you are thinking we need to make the money as fast as we can, STOP IT. We are always going to be here for you because we really Love You. I wanted to do Tour again like I did last time, but now will do maybe a couple shows. I will not be buying the tix thru you, but on the lot for $20.00 like so may times before. If I dont get in oh well, theres always the tapes to get me thru. Please don't forget WE DO LOVE YOU "It's like a mighty melody that rings down from the sky"

The boys should call this tour "All About the Benjamins" With unemployment at an all time high in the country, home foreclosures and everything else, I can't believe the ticket prices.... Hope they don't mind playing for half-full venues.... Never thought I'd be off the bus cuz of prices....oh well...

Today is a good day for sure! Let's all put our good energy out there for the website gods...The ticketing site is not very responsive now and only half the country is awake. So let's all band together and think good thoughts!

I guess the bus needs an overhaul. But seriously, I wonder how much more it costs for a band to play a place like the Spectrum or the Pepsi Center compared to what it cost 5 years ago. This may not be all on the band. Even if it is then so be it. They've given us a lifetime of good times and good music and it may be The Last Time and all you people complaining can do is say that they've sold out... that they've money hungry and they let us down... I know this was probably really bad timing with the economy and all but EVERYTHING costs more than it did 5 years ago. I'm barely scrapping to get 1 ticket. But I'm not going to dog on the band!

probably the Going Furthur topic would be your best bet.
