as posted, the vindex is missing CB's latest update. The search box is turning up no results for a lot of things. I use that to track down vines (easier than thumbing through all the listings and pages). Also my 1969 Lossless Part 5 thread is unable to be found. I posted a lil over a week ago if there was no movement on that then I would reseed it. I guess I'll let things settle for little while longer and hope it all works out. Btw I copied CB's vindex and have it saved as a txt file if anyone needs that since he may be busy to repost it.

the search errors too was searching for those E72 tour pages that were posted in April and May the ones with track-listing as well as links to one of the songs... gone?

I will update it and repost in the next week if it does not reappear

I suppose an update is needed already due to the massive amount of new vines that have been started since summer (including a nearly complete 1982 year and a nice healthy dose of 1976)

The bicentennial grateful dead vine won't allow me to post. I received it yday. I've been working like crazy lately (11pm last night) but will be able to start ripping it tomorrow. Will update, hopefully on the thread, when it is ready to go.

Now the Vindex is getting so huge and seems to have been eliminated from this site, I am planning a new way of sharing it, which is intended to be easier for me, easier for folks to scan and analyse and that will not clog up the site. I am posting a link to a place where you can read a simple spreadsheet online with the VIndex on it. It includes a whole lot more useful info too, including a list of all the shows the GD ever played and dates of all official releases. The link is here. I did not mean to suggest that these two vines are physically lost 1969 Lossless Part 5 Bi-Centennial Grateful Dead Vine it's just that the pages that feature them here have disappeared (at least that was the case yesterday) . All part of the weirdness being investigated by MaryE.

Maybe I'm slow ... I don't know, but maybe there are others who don't know this: If you PM'd someone and you're not sure if they've read your message yet, go to your "sent" folder. If they haven't opened your message yet, the word "new" will appear in red in the subject line (just like when you go to your inbox and you have new messages). Kida like getting a read receipt. OK, maybe this doesn't seem like a big deal, BUT it does tell you if someone is no longer active in the Vineyard, which could stop vines from dying. For example: there is someone who hasn't opened ANY of my messages since February. If he follows me on the list, I know not to send him the vine. Make sense? New to the 21st century, Chris

I'm posting my thoughts regarding each show in the respective threads (go to "Shows & Lyrics" on the left, just under "Features") if anyone is interested. I've listened to the first 3 nights, grading 4/7 & 4/8 as 8.5 out of 10 overall, and 4/11 as 9 out of 10. I'm not a musician so my musical vocabulary is pretty limited, though as you all know I've listened to my fair share of Dead shows.

and thank you CB for new vindex. Sorry I haven't been around in awhile guys. I keep saying the vines I have are gonna move shortly and there should be no reason in delaying any longer the vines that I have.

In my opinion the vine should keep going. Some of us couldn't get the box set because dead.net can't figure out how to transcribe credit card and address info. Or how to save it to their database. I didn't sign up for that vine because I stupidly assumed I would be getting the box. "I won't take your life won't even take a limb just unload my shotgun and take a little skin"

I have been holding up a few vines due to some crazy overtime @ work that was unexpected. They WILL be moving on by Monday. Liberty #1 and #2 Closing of the Spectrum sorry again.

Is this going to come back? For example when you could search and sort only vines for example?

What happened? There must have been 10 pages of posts on that day. All the vine threads are buried beneath that stuff. It makes searching difficult to impossible... :(

But I don't see where you can sort the forums into the vineyard only. The 'sort window thing' used to be on the top of the page and I don't see it anymore. I could be as sharp as a marble or just blind.
