The Indy presale sold out in 5 minutes and there are already 32 tickets on Stubhub - there has to be a better system

i bought a single ticket for the c'ville show yesterday at noon and got what seems to be the best seat ive gotten in a long while for furthur (or for anyone for that matter)... front section and its a very small section so im gonna be real close on the JK side... i guess just ordering 1 tic vs. multi tix makes a difference jbl

"I suppose the episode further exposed the greed of Ticketmaster (who were in the process of merging with Live Nation), and also confirmed what many of us have suspected for a long time—that good seats for concerts are not really available to regular people. There has always been corruption at every level of ticketing—blocks of seats that go to scalpers or resale agencies or to the friends of the promoter or the people who work for whatever ticket company is involved. We expect that to occur. But it has gotten much, much worse through the years." I have stopped going to shows due to scumbag scalpers such as: Tickets for Less (read: More), Stub Hub (Crooks), Ticketbastard (self explanatory), etc. To me that is like selling a Grateful Dead bootleg...you just don't do it if you have any class. Fuck all of you scalpers out there, I hope you get robbed as you have robbed countless others over the years. Sorry for the negativity folks, but I call 'em like I see 'em.

Are the fault of Furthur not TM. Maybe the execs in the Furthur camp should look at themselves in the mirror. The pre-sales fall right into the hands of scalpers, they sell out in minutes ... too... scalpers.... "I won't take your life won't even take a limb just unload my shotgun and take a little skin"

Indy presale has not even gone up yet!! The Stubhubbers are just "hoping" LOL. Not sure how much excess demand there will even be for a Monday night show.

i'm psyched for the indy show-- tho it's a monday, it's the monday before thanksgiving-- so, it might be more convenient for people, not less-!!! i'll be there for certain! if the show is in the theatre section, it's a gorgeous place to see a show (norah jones was amazing there; bob dylan was not so amazing)! if it's the ballroom part, that's a fun place to see a show (bruce hornsby, black crowes)-- either way, an excellent part of town- great bars (chatterbox), restaurants-- easy patking yippee! i'm so glad further is coming to see me!!! caroline

Silly me, didn't notice the pre-sale until tonight and predictably nothing left. Cheapest tickets for MSG on StubHub are running 200, and they go way up from there. Nothing left to do but cry cry cry.

Tickets weren't that hard to come by on the summer tour! Please don't tell me we have to go back to that era where tickets sold out in a second! I can understand venues that Furthur rarely play, but even Raleigh had to be downsized to to a smaller venue last summer. I kind of love going to a 2/3ds full show with a mellow parking lot scene. I know I'm an older deadhead and slowing down like an old dog but, what they hey, let's give it another crushing twirl for old time's sake! ~ We gonna pitch a ball down to that union hall ~

There's always demand for good seats so unfortunately I've found it makes no real difference trying for a mid week show as opposed to a Saturday night. Scalper's aren't after all the seats, just the good ones, and they clean up with pre-sales. Phish has a pre-sale "lottery" system that somehow weeds out the scalpers by identifying buyers who are true fans. I have no idea how they actually do it, but it works well. I'm sure a few scalpers still get tickets, but the majority seem to go to phans.

Really does zig-zag the travel. I'm less confused now that I understand that this venue is an arena for which Mohegan Sun apparently ponied up the cash for naming rights...I was confused further since the Mohegan Sun at the Poconos didn't show any kind of concert listings, period. Not sure why I care, not going regardless. I used to live in RI, so my eye tends to get drawn to any New England listings...and this one appeared to be, but was not.

I hope everybody is getting psyched about this band. They are laying it down like I haven't heard in 20 years. They are jamming and adventurous. The schedule has them on two runs of 5 nights in different cities. There are bound to be down days as they get tired of the grueling schedule. I think catching one of the first five shows would be a wise thing tto do. You'r gonna love it. Get ready to dance!. !Dancing, dancing in the streets! ~

I was sitting on my loveseat the other day, rolling through tunes in my head, no books or internet. I was thinking of the word, "got" in songs. My friend had a T-shirt made up that says, "got bobby weir" and a few other "got" ones too. I got my cell phone out and with the notebook took down a few gots I had found in songs. They just kept comming...it was so fun. After I read it, it was quite a trip. Have fun jumping in and out of tunes dodging lines and wasting time with me. Here we go... got the Grateful Dead?..... got my cards got six months got one soild got to watch each card got to walk the line got no heart got the Cumberland Blues got have have good lovin' got somethings to talk got everything delightful got to have it got some more in store got cash got them Deep Elm Blues got to poke got you another got no sin got used to having you got me a date got to try an see got On that's where got time to call got to be real got a wife got no dime got a whole lot of love got some time to hear got a life time got my child got to get down got to give got to get back got to let your soul shine got a girl got the notion got everything I need got to come home with me got to come back for more got nothing new to say got one more for ya got enough time for...fooling around no more. Out of The Old National Centre in Indianapolis on Nov. 21. We were tired and grizzled after 15 shows and ready to go home to Venice Beach and hang out with our tin hat alien friends under the sun umbrella. It's been freakin' sweet listening to the radio lately!NY has a station 92.7 The Drive and they are playing commericals for FURTHUR! ---Oh Man--( I love it!@ I don't know who cut them but they did great! 92.7 has been crankin' Dead tunes... Estimated Prophet yesterday afternoon was a day maker! They usually will play the Grateful Dead here and there, and it makes me so happy but with ya'll comming it's been extra---Yahoo! Um..@how about that Golden Road? The other tunes too--- now that is FURTHUR on the radio! Maybe you guys should release just one or two CDs? Why not? IDK you decide but I'd sure love to hear ya'll on the radio in more than a commerical!
