    Walking down a dark, gravel country road, very late at night. Owls and spirits. Completely alone. Scared? No. Could be though. Nothing like that feeling of imagination running wild. We never walk alone, we are always accompanied by the spirits of the dead, the haunted... but walking around the pedestrian shopping mall at noon on Saturday in the bright sunshine is sure as shit a lot different than 2 am in the country. You don't feel a presence then, unlike the dead of night when the air is thin.

    Born on the Bayou... Evil Ways, Black Magic Woman (it was all the Santana talk that brought me into this space). Healing Chant, Yellow Moon by the Neville Brothers. Dr. John, Gregg Allman... Willie Bobo "Fried Neck Bones and Some Home Fries." Wow.

    Maybe the concern about Daves Picks not selling out is that it obviously indicates less demand for them. if that is the case - will the series continue ? Maybe it's had it's day, and it's time for a new approach. There must be a point where so few people buy them that it's no longer viable to carry on releasing them.

    This morning I listened to some more Muddy Waters on my weekly car journey to the shop, from around 1960, when Pat Hare was in the band. With that out of the way, I got home and carried on with The Dead's show at Newcastle 4/11/72. Where I had left off, with "Next Time You See Me". It was uncanny how similar it sounded to the Muddy Waters band I had just been listening too.

    DReading's comments are on point. The releases are still relatively strong, the latest 69 release is especially high caliber GD. Years, sound quality and specialness of shows do matter but so do the other market factors that tug and pull at their subscription model. I could care less if these things sell out, so long as the quality is good I will still subscribe, others will come and go as they choose.

    It's probably been 7 or 8 years since I compared 1977 dead to my supermodel X girlfriend.. after a while perfection is just not so perfect after all. I bet next year '77 will not be the in the pole position. With the GD, perfection was more a side effect than the goal. The goal was looking for something not yet discovered.. something new. Often they never got there but when they did, they knew it and knew what to do with it.

    Google Rick Rubin and Grateful Dead, there's a gem of an interview there and he says this much better than I ever could. Is 1977 top tier GD, yes, absolutely.. but if every show was 1977... I would have been done with this band a long, long time ago. They are that good and that interesting but why would they be content with just one sound or one series of ideas? The journey is the reward, not the destination.

    There has never been a 1968 Dave's Pick. Just saying. When this happens (and it will) I won't be terribly concerned if it takes a long time to sell out nor surprised if does the first hour. It doesn't matter (anyway). I'd like to see new shows get released well into my retirement 🙏. One day.. however.. they will change things up. All good things in all good time. (did someone say 1968?)

    ....yup. Santana coined that phrase regarding showering the fans with the good stuff. Now I need to seek out that show.
    Need to filter out machine gun Trey. He was relentless at times then.
    Carlos was probably tripping when he saw/heard that. All good. I also have some good quips when I'm under the effects of the psychedelica.
    Things tend to expand. Then contract. Then it eventually meets somewhere in the middle.
    Under a little shroom influence now.
    So it all makes perfect sense.

    Santana did sit in for Funky Bitch and YEM and maybe another. It's when they played Vermont, 7-25 I think? Since it was their home, he also let them play a longer opening set. I also remember reading somewhere how trey(maybe the band?) stayed with and Santana and was impressed that he still took out his own trash, haha. Santana also had the the comment about how he saw phish as the hose watering the flowers of the crowd

    ....I don't believe either band sat in with the other. But that was huge for the boys from Vermont. They started gaining huge traction that year. Phirst heard them in west coast GD lots that year also. Kept hearing about them by word of mouth. By 1993 they were playing much larger venues. Source? I kinda like them. Got my 50th and 51st Phish shows coming up in Hollywood next month. Phirst outdoor Phish shows in over a decade. Probably Festival 8 in 2009. Phirst time traveling out of state to see them since then as well. Hoping it warms up by then. Hasn't hit 70 degrees here in Vegas yet, and the 10 day forecast is saying it won't either. Unheard of.
    Fluffhead and Slave To The Traffic Light were the 🎵's that perked my ears. I have a Slave license plate frame because it's applicable even if one doesn't know the story behind it lol.
    See the city see the zoo. Traffic light won't let me through.

Never saw Traffic but did see Steve Winwood at Tower theatre in Phila. He spent most of the show behind the keyboards but stepped out to play guitar on Dear Mr Fantasy and blew the house down. Just excellent.

Saw them at last day of Woodstock 94 along with ABB, Santana, and Jimmy Cliff among others.

Saw Dave Mason in a brewpub late eighties. Knew of him but didn’t know him so that was a nice mind melter.

Clapton is a great guitarist but seems the more I learn about him, the more he seems like a douche?

Floyd: one of my first albums I bought in the mid seventies was DSOTM. Didn’t have Animals until recently so don’t “know” it, but like it. Never was a huge fan of the Wall. Like some of the cuts and I’m sure it was cool to see it live but thought it was too “pop”, local radio station played it too much etc. Thought it was lame they didn’t do more shows. As a kid HTF was I gonna go to NY or LA?
Early stuff is cool, just don’t know it so well as it seems a bit esoteric to me, but that’s probably because I haven’t put the time in?
Don’t know the newer stuff well either, though do like some of the more spacey and instrumental stuff, like that last album is good drifting and dreaming music.

Hi All! So I definitely have not logged as many concert hours as most of of you. Part of that is that along with getting on the bus at the 11th hour, I was also late bloomer when it came to seeing live shows in general. Yet in 1994 I saw Pink Floyd and Traffic who opened for Grateful Dead's summer tour. For Traffic they were opening at my first ever Dead show, so I will admit I didn't focus on them much and don't recall too much. I vaguely remember them jamming on Dr. Mr Fantasy. Several years later I had a now long lost buddy who was very much into Traffic as his #1 band. That really turned my attention to their music and I have managed to pick up all of their live releases (there are not that many). There is an unofficial release from a Santa Monica show in 1972 on CD and DVD. The whole show is on YouTube and if you haven't seen it is worth checking out. Traffic was short lived but they were a very talented band.

A quick note on Pink Floyd - it was nice to seem then even if it was sans Roger Waters. I have also seen Roger Waters solo act.

Anyway, I will always look back to 1994 very fondly as I got to see my first Dead show but these other 2 bands as well. Not too shabby for what it was back then.

Found a stash of factory recorded tapes and I have no clue where they came from. Maybe somebody gave them away after tapes died. Started with a Yardbirds compilation, then on to Celtic Cross - Richard Searles which couldn't be more suited to today's holiday. (A journey into the heart of the Gaels) But I need some help with two of these others, maybe our Continental and UK posters can tell me what I have here.
1) BAP - can't even read it, looks German (vun driune noh drusse)?
2) Silly Wizard - A Glint of Silver
And the rest I can figure out but why do I have Sergio Mendez, The Pointer Sisters, Men At Work, and a radio recording of W.C. Fields - The Day I Drank a Glass of Water?
Some of the rest of the stash is my oldest teenage tapes that I played in the '68 Bug on an under-the-dash mounted deck with one of those slide out brackets 'cause you know they want that crappy deck so you better take it inside at night. But the SCORE is about a dozen of the finest jazz recordings I have from the likes of Stanley Clark, Return To Forever, Mahavishnu Orch., Freddie Hubbard, Eric Weber, Gary Burton, John Abercrombie, Jack DeJohnette, and two I don't even remember recording: Luis Gasca with Carlos Santana, Joe Henderson, Lenny White, Stanley Clarke, and others. And Clive Stevens with J. Abercrombie, Ralph Towner, Steve Kahn, and Billy Cobham. Wow! A who's who of jazz mostly from the ECM record label. So all of those would have to be from pre-1979 when I had a roomy with a lot of jazz. Looks like I'll be busy for a while. Another benefit of having senior memory loss. (like where did I put all those tapes I used to have)

Chuck - you don't have to be an expert guitar player to recognise expertise in others. In fact, sometimes, if you play yourself it can get in the way. I once knew a man who played guitar, who didn't like Muddy Waters because some of his songs only had one chord in them

I have just been watching the "Nothing But The Blues" film of Eric Clapton playing in 1995. A tour de force of electric blues - my favourite post 1960's music by him. Incredible - if you saw him play around this time you are a lucky man.

That BAP album came out in ‘83 and is apparently one of the best selling “German”
rock albums ever. Who knew??
Silly Wizard was a Scottish “folk” band that played ‘70’s’-mid ‘80’s.

DR and Chuck, saw Clapton in '85, '87, '88, and (no stub) somewhere in the 1990-95 era (PHX) when he had a buzz cut and he and the whole band were in white t-shirts and workwear right down to the yellow Timberland style boots. Not his usual dapper attire. He once said if he weren't a musician he would have wanted to be a fashion designer. Always well dressed. Eric - " Some of these guys show up in track suits. I mean what's it all about?" talking about his respect for some of the blues greats who wore nice suits as most professional performers did BITD. I would have to say he was better every time I saw him. He has said he regrets not doing more with Steve Winwood and bailing out on Blind Faith. So maybe not what some think Oro. We've all made choices and he certainly has helped some folks with his treatment center for addiction which most of his earnings from the Crossroads Festivals have supported.

Daverock I remember seeing Clapton right after Jerry Passed away in 1995 in New York and it was an Amazing show. Clapton was my First concert in 1968 Cream in Philadelphia. The next year Blind Faith also in Philly, I saw Traffic in New Your in 1971 or 72 and them the Amazing Clapton/Winwood show around 2008?? also in New York. And somone said that he seemed like a Douche, He does have some strange beliefs but I try not to let people's personal life affect me enjoying their talent of playing music

Low Spark and John Barleycorn were key pieces of vinyl back in the day (nowadays I listen to the CDs but still have the vinyl), but back then right along with those lps for myselfandfriends was a, now long gone, "greatest hits" called Heavy Traffic, bought it as a cut out, that had cool tripped out cover art of shiny reflective flying saucers flying and slicing through a bunch of saguaro cacti. Released in '75 (and still have that one also, very dogeared - Side 1: Dear Mr Fantasy/40 Thousand Headman/Smiling Phases/Shanghai Noodle Factory/Paper Sun. Side 2: Feelin' Alright/Heaven is in Your Mind/Medicated Goo/Coloured Rain/Empty Pages.) Another cool and somewhat obscure piece of Winwood discography from that time was Go (group was led by Stomu Yamashta). Never lucked into Traffic as an opener, haven't seen Steve, but did catch Spencer Davis as a special guest at The Forum (edit -12/10/89 not 12/11). I'm A Man set closer was killer.

Pink Floyd-When they came out I bought Obscured by clouds, Meddle, Ummagumma, then Atom Heart Mother, a real heavy one, then DSOTM, played that over and over, Wish you were here was the last album I really liked. I did like the guitar work on Comfortably Numb.

Saw them first at the Cow Palace in '75, they first played new songs from WYWH, we guessed wrongly at the names. Second set was entire DSOTM, with the Echoes encore, awesome show!

I was impressed with their sound system. I thought they ranked up with the Dead in quality of sound that night in the big barn with it's atrocious acoustics. In my mind the Dead and Pink were the two bands that put their money in a quality sound system at the time.

I recorded that show on a little stereo sony cassette one mic system I had borrowed from my friend, and was so impressed with the results I decided to buy a recorder myself for future shows- the beginning of my stealth concert recording days.

Saw them at the Oakland Coliseum in '77 when they were flying giant pig balloons over the crowd, another great show.

Back in the days of standing in line for tickets, toward the end of those days before a lottery for tickets ruined the ability of hard core fans to do the time in line the night before tickets went on sale, we did that very thing, taking turns over night, and scored six seats in the sixth row center at the Oakland Stadium for the No Roger Pink. Great show, taped that too.

Only time I saw Traffic was at Winterland in 1978. Winwood was so impressive jumping back and forth between keys and guitar and singing so well- great voice. His band was at Outside Lands Festival in GG Park one year, saw him there. Saw him two years ago at the Fox Theater in Oakland, he still had it. For those of you interested in diving deeper in to Traffic, those "original album' repacks offer five of their original albums in a small box for a very reasonable price.

Last Five

GOGD 10 /11, 12/ 1983 MSG These are my favorite shows in the new box- very well recorded and strong shows. I've decided to go back to the other four shows for a second listen.

GOGD 1/1970 "Live in San Diego 1970) bootleg. Originally an FM broadcast. Not bad sound.

Gene Clark - Gene Clark. Got pretty good reviews, but I was underwhelmed. Will need to listen again.

Crosby-Nash - Another Stoney Evening. I picked this up after it was mentioned on this forum several times. Thanks, guys, really sweet sounds from these two.

Steve Miller Band - Brave New World. Early Steve 'guitar' Miller, my favorite time. Nicky Hopkins plays beautiful keys on 'Kow Kow', and surprisingly Paul McCartney sneaks in to play drums ( under the false name of Paul Ramon for the sake of record restrictions) on one of my favorite rockers, "My Dark Hour".

Fleetwood Mac - Blues Jam in Chicago v2. Another nice opportunity to hear Peter Green and Danny Kerwan sing and play with these blues greats. I need to get v1.

Neil Young and the Stray Gators - Tascaloosa. A live recording made right after the same band was recording "Harvest" in Neil's Barn. "Harvest Time" the fine documentary released in Theaters last year documents the goings on at the Barn.

Music IS the best.

3/17/67, Winter land , has a version of the Golden Road gotta release this show, 3/17/68, Carousel Ballroom Ballroom, looks cool, 3/17/70 Buffalo, a definite release. C'mon , Dave lets get that music out there.

12/89 Forum shows were good 'uns VGuy! And the Ultramatrixes available are excellent. And by the way, your comment about the Knights vs. Blackhawks a few weeks ago had me tune in that night to 'Hawks radio (WGN) for first time in awhile and I've caught almost every game since and its been a fun run to hear. Took down the Bruins a few nights ago, and last night the Preds.

Not a deep knowledge FloydHead, but a couple of David Gilmour releases that I really really dig post-Floyd are the Live in Concert video from Royal Festival Hall 2002 and Live in Gdansk. Both awesome and beautiful.

Phil encored with a rollicking Whiskey in the Jar tonight.. quite the nod to St. Patty's day and a reminder that this music is still evolving and taking form.. don't underestimate Phil's contribution, his bands are carrying as bright a torch as any.. and he just turned 83. Holy cow. oh.. and they played one of the better Viola Lee's > GDTRFB just prior to the encore. I have a soft spot in my mind for Viola Lee Blues.. a psychedelic anthem if ever there was one.

..and Proudfoot.. a proud Terrapin here. Doubt if they can topple Alabama, but they kicked the shit out of Perdue a couple weeks ago, so who knows. Beware the turtle.. My only Terrapin regret is that they did not play Terrapin Station the only time they played at my alma mater, Cole Field House 3/7/81. A good show, but the recordings and the acoustics at the venue pretty much sucked ass.. this one will never get released.. The MSG show two days later kicks solid ass.

That's all I have.. happy St. Patricks Day.. the holiday that embraces good luck so play a Terrain Station and you will surely have good luck. Promise.

A tasty little show with two noticeable irritants

Good Lovin' > Drums > NFA > Drums > Good Lovin' contains virtually NO jamming. Believe it or not.

The other irritant I'll just let go.

Chuck - it goes without saying that seeing Cream in 1968 is the stuff of legend. That 4 cd box of the October/November 1968 shows that came out a few years ago is amazing. I was hoping a similar one would come out from the March 1968 shows, some of which featured on "Wheels Of Fire" and the ancient "Live Volume 1." But there doesn't seem any sign of it yet.

I notice you also saw him in 1995, around the time of "From The Cradle" and the "Nothing But The Blues" shows. Another peak in his career.

I only saw Eric Clapton once - in 2009. It wasn't a great time - around then my father died - we all know what bereavement is like. I was sitting up in the balcony at The Royal Albert Hall a fair way from the stage. It was good, but I wasn't really in the right head space - or seat space come to that - to really enjoy it.

I missed him by a hair's breadth in 2019. Before he joined The Yardbirds, he used to busk around London with Dave Brock, who went on to form Hawkwind. In 2019, he joined Hawkwind on stage for one number - and stayed on for a total of 8 songs ! And naturally enough, I was there. The following night.

Tingling, numbness, can't walk, weakness, balance issues.

A Dr. said he is seeing cases every week now.
Said he used to see a cocaine stroke maybe every few years.

I've done my fair share of nitrous back in the day. Overrated and a waste of $.

I rarely post but do read posts, mostly the DP45 posts, and there are quite a few posts on what would be a preferable release, whether it be the box set, DPs, or special editions like the 50th stuff. What got me thinking is I just got, believe it or not, the the 3-10-81 show from In And Out Of The Garden. I had gotten two 3-9-81 shows in the box I got for Christmas from my wife and just got the replacement a couple of days ago. It took awhile but I got it so no worries there. I loaded it on my phone and listened to it. Not a bad show, not a great show and listening to it without the excitement or adrenaline rush I get whenever I get a new release, it was enjoyable but not really memorable or one I would listen to again soon, as were all the other shows in this box, and one of my judging criteria of the shows is if I want to listen again right away or very soon thereafter, that's a really good show to me. I know there are many factors that go into a release and sales are the bottom line obviously but maybe a simplified thought process is what's needed. A great/very good show or run of shows period. No special frills or big boxes. I have every box set released including Fillmore 69 and who has room for any more box sets. Maybe a return to the simpler boxes like The Fillmore or even another download series. Even the DP releases. I don't know if Dave is the one and only person who decides on what's released or if there is some kind of committee and I know that everyone tastes/likes are different but for the most part I think most Deadheads can agree on what is a really hot show. Not one that has a good story behind it or that is more marketable than others but just a really good show. Maybe even some kind of voting that can be done on dead.net from a list of releasable shows from the vault. The move definitely is going to vinyl. I don't do vinyl and do most of my listening either in my truck or on headphones working around the house or in the yard so it just doesn't work for me. I just have an insatiable appetite for really good shows and personally haven't heard a new one for awhile. Maybe that's why the releases are not selling as well lately. Who knows. I'll keep buying whatever is released but I/ we're due for a plain old hot show release.

Peteh - that's a good idea about having a vote on what would make good further releases. Makes more sense than having a few people guess what the punters want on the basis of past sales or whatever. I'm definitely in favour of obscure great shows rather than well known average ones, too.
I have always assumed that there is a committee that picks the Dave's releases, and that he is the spokesman for this committee.

DaP 42 +bonus and DaP 43 seemed pretty hot to me.
I think that DaP 46 +bonus might be pretty good too.

That’s within about a 12-month span.
Seems that the committee has been delivering good pre-hiatus shows on a fairly regular basis, while also delivering post-hiatus shows which many people also want.

If Dave isn’t releasing what you want when you want it, stream it from the archive or get it from the torrents. If it’s not available by those methods then you’ll just have to wait for Dave to release it. It’s not even that hard, Doc often offers up shows, you just have to PM him and ask.

Yesterday I listened to
GD 1971-12-15 149966.sbd.mr.miller (recorded by Ramrod).
That was pretty good, especially the Dark Star. Listened to the Dark Star twice in fact.
I think that when 12-14-71 was released some people complained that Dave didn’t choose 12-15 instead. If/when Dave releases 12-15-71 I can imagine that someone will complain about back-to-back shows with Run Rudolph Run having been released.

The Let It Grows from 7-13 and 7-18 were interesting, seemed different than the ones from June 76 although I haven't done a comparison.

I’ll throw out shows to vote on, 12-18-73 paired with a new issue of 12-19-73, both Plangentized/Normanized.
Could even put them in a 1973 50th anniversary Box containing shows from Nov/Dec since the 73 shows with ABB will have to come out in a separate ABB-approved Box.

Hey Icecrmcnkd I get what you're saying. I think my biggest problem is that I have so many shows I don't know what to pick anymore and can't always remember the hot shows( it sucks getting old!) and use the new releases to whet my appetite. The other problem is I don't know what I want, I was never a tape trader and most of what I listen to are releases or bootlegs so I'm not sure of what's out there. There is also an app called Attics that has I believe almost every show and multiple versions like Archive. I should really start digging into that. I think it still would be pretty cool to do at least one voted on DP though.

It would create a lot of interest even if your choice wasn't picked.
I'm guessing Dave L. does most of the work but has influencers.
Committee sounds a bit formal for this bunch.
I need a 8-30,31-1978 Red Rocks four disc release if I'm going to vote.

Being old school, I find having it in front of me helps to both explore new territory and to document where we’ve been etc. For me, that’s Deadbase 10. I have 50, but I only use that to correct or fill in gaps.
I write In 10 to highlight and document shows: at, released, and listened to, and it’s easy to check out set lists etc, which I find interesting and helpful. From there you can check out possible ideas, then use comments on archive etc, and that sometimes will give the the hell yeah vibe your looking for! Of course Like anything on the internet involving opinions, use caution, but sometimes you’ll find a show with a lot of reviews, and all highly favorable. Not a guarantee that you’ll like it, but a good way to start.
Sometimes you can find gold by picking unreleased shows from an overall hot tour, or if several hot shows from a run or two have been released, then sometimes the one they didn’t go with is good too. I.e., 3/30/88 that we did on POTDWD. Nice show perhaps overlooked by it’s released neighbors. Or 71 Caps…or…
This is why some of us like POTDWD as we try to find good shows that we haven’t heard before, which kinda sounds to me like what your looking for?
Really, it just comes down to putting in the work and actually listening to shows, especially ones not on the radar, and learning what you like.

As far as voting. Nice idea but I think there’d be potential for huge sample bias. No offense to anyone, but I think the active demographic here on dnet is pretty biased in what they like comparatively, which is fine.
Perhaps the lurkers prefer a more comprehensive view, but being lurkers, we don’t know lol.

Perhaps they could do a survey using subscribers since we’re probably the ones most invested in all this. You might suffer sample bias via subscribers who only purchase to resell, but, they are subscribers, and you wouldn’t think they’d encompass a high percentage of the sample, but who knows? I often wonder how many subs are resellers?

Anyhoo, just ment to say I find documentation to be key, good luck!

Great Idea Oro! I have a Deadbase around the basement somewhere. Should have been doing it years ago!!! Yeah picking shows is just so subjective. I also find my mood, mellow, antsy, stressed, for whatever reason changes my liking of different shows at different times. Thanks for the help!

You can cast a single vote after you have paid for your pre-order and there are no refunds if you don’t like the show that gets the highest votes.

Considering that PNW Box and STL Box didn’t sell out right away, pre-hiatus years may not always get the highest votes.

I don't like the idea of only allowing subscribers to vote about future releases, if such a thing came to pass. I have been buying live releases by The Dead since 1975 - all the stand alone releases, all the Dicks Picks, all the Road Trips, all the box sets and all the Dave's picks up to around 2020. Then I decided there were some shows from some years I didn't want. I went off the idea of paying for shows before knowing what they were. So I stopped subscribing. This surely shouldn't bar me from having a say about future releases. To say such as me isn't as invested in Dead releases as someone who subscribes is absurd.
Also, obviously, different people like listening to The Dead in different formats. L.P.s and cds are great for me - but I am not interested in downloads. With some it may be the other way round. It should be a good thing that there are these different formats that cater to differing tastes. I don't think it's wise to assume everyone enjoys listening to the band the same way you do.

...Isn't the brightest bulb, nor is that invisible hand so smart. For instance, 3/1/69, one of the premier primal Dead shows is available on vinyl for just $59.99 a year after its release online and in person at Newbury Comics. They also had 4/7-8/72 vinyl sets for $125-135. Just happened to poke around. Too bad the glut in the marketplace for Dead items didn't happen a few years ago, but now that it's here, there are more reasonable prices to be had on vinyl releases one may have missed.

I agree Daverock. Everyone should be allowed to vote. It should just be an open vote on the dead.net. Even if Dave gave us a choice of say 5 or 10 that are releasable quality I think that would be great.

I knew you DR were going to say that.
My point is only votes are useless if you can’t control the sample properly.
So if you say everyone at dnet can vote, how will you know that say BTK hasn’t voted 467 times for 1970 etc.
AND, how many people who buy many of the releases, but don’t ever come hang here would not get represented.
That’s all I was trying to suggest: if your going to have releases based on votes, then how do you ensure proper sampling? Sorry I didn’t offer a more comprehensive idea, was only trying to show how it might not work. Certainly didn’t mean to exclude or rile anyone up ffs.

EDIT: Petah, set and setting for sure! That’s why my preference is all the years because “some times you feel like a nut, sometimes you don’t” variety is the spice of life etc. So I’m the same way: different eras for different needs, like choosing different albums to listen to by the same band.

UPON FURTHER REVIEW: perhaps they use All the mail addresses?
I believe you have to use an email address to make online purchase?
If so, then send non manipulative, use by addressee only email?
That way anyone who’s purchased anything in (imagine you could adjust variable) say the last five years from deadnet would get a vote. Yes the resellers probably have duplicate addresses but again, would they really skew things that much? You’d think resellers would be down with whatever is going to sell?
It would be nice if we got to have input, I unfortunately don’t see it happening.

Yup. Thanks again for the heads up on that one to whoever made the original post. I purchased it a few weeks ago for a little more than half of what they are asking for 5/8/77. No brainer. It arrived yesterday.

3/1/69 is so good I am thinking of getting it again - seriously. While it's still available. I am also starting to get tempted to buy Dicks Picks 33 on vinyl, even though it is extortionate. But it is two shows - and the first 10/9/76 is my favourite of the year...this is how it starts.

Today is "International Happiness Day" apparently. " Be Mindful. Be Grateful. Be Kind." are the watch words. I'm not sure when "International Day of Being a Complete Bastard" is. Every other day of the year, maybe.
