you might try asking this in the Sirius topic because I think David Gans does read it from time to time, and he'd probably know.

Looking for a version of Tangled Up IN Blue...
I heard it on Sirius the other day...it's Jerry doing Tangled Up In Blue but it's super groovy and much faster than the standard way he usually does the song. Not sure if it's Jerry solo or JGB, but in the chorus the girls are singing "tangled up in Blue yeah, tangled up in blue" - that standard version usually doesn't have the "yeah" in the chorus. Anyhoo...if anyone knows this version and where I can find it I'd be super grateful!!! THanks!~Tam

Deadhead vs Quilters: it could get ugly...
Hi! The Dead shows in Worcester are April 18th and 19th at the DCU Center. Y'all knew that already. This overlaps a day with the Original Sewing and Quilt Expo, which is also at the DCU Center on April 16th, 17th and 18th. Cheers, MitD ********************************************* **************This space for rent***************** *********************************************

Hello All, I am wondering where I can find a version of I know you rider that I heard on XM the other day. It was a really early version with a faster beat, it almost had a 60's beach scene beat. Thanks in advance.

    Hey econ_grad, part two...
Deadbase suggests 131 shows from 1994 through the end of the database (and the "Grateful Dead", as the rest of the guys don't use the name since Jerry's passing) @ 1995. My copy of the Cosmicbadger SuperGroovy Holistic Spreadsheet shows 129 shows, not sure where the difference is vs Deadbase but regardless the number of shows is substantially more than "none". Send me a PM with an email address and I can forward you a listing, or you can noodle around Deadbase and get the listings you need. I'm working on a project where I want to attempt to archive Grateful Dead bootleg lot shirts. I would like to create a print publication as well as a website celebrating the lot bootleg shirt. I would also like to document the stories and lore behind the shirts. I would love to hear any stories about anyone funding their tour by selling shirts, stories from shirt creators, any crazy Dead bootleg story (favorite shirt, shirts tha led to introductions, crazy adventures, etc... Feel free to send me any pictures, stories, ideas, suggestions, etc.. Thanks! Peace.

A long, long time ago, when we listened to tapes, a friend of mine had this great show from (I think) May 1978. Here is what (I think) I remember:
Terrapin > Sunrise > Estimated, which were mind-blowing. Probably Donna's best Sunrise; will bring you to tears.
I'm fairly sure that Terrapin went straight in to Sunrise. But I'm sure that Sunrise went straight in to Estimated. I don't think it was edited that way.
They were playing these tunes a lot at that time, but I've combed through the archives and just can't locate a show with this sequence; my memories may be at fault.

Thanks!

In Deadbase X, the lists for all 30 Sunrises:
5-12-77 Estimated>Sunrise>Terrapin
5-22-77 Good Lovin'>Sunrise>Estimated
1-11-78 Samson>Sunrise>Terrapin
4-11-78 Fire>Sunrise>Terrapin
That's all that have either an Estimated or a Terrapin on either side.
So maybe that 5-12-77?

Hey 1st Show!

Thanks for the assist; May 22 1977 is the one. Listening to it right now. You know what's wrong with that show? NOTHING! ;-) Many of the tunes played that night are easily top picks for me.

Does anyone have contact information for the photographer who was shooting family portraits at Laguna Seca in 1988? Today my daughter, who was three years old at those shows, mentioned that the post-show scene at those gigs is one of her earliest memories. I’d love to get a print of the photo that was taken by that photographer. Thanks!

When doing a data transfer I managed to lose all of the 30 Days music I'd collected over the years
I thought I once came across a site that allowed one to download previous years, but darned if I can find it again.
Anybody help me find it again, or something similar?
Thanks in advance.

Post over on the 30 days thread.
I'm sure someone there knows.
They are incredibly knowledgeable.
Good luck and cheers
