Looking for CDR Trades...need Cornell 05-08-77 matrix!

Howdy, I'm looking for some Grateful Dead CDR trades...I've got over 750 shows on CDR of the Grateful Dead, mostly SBD, but some HQ Aud sources too! I'm also looking for a copy of the GD at Cornell Univ. FREE DAT SBD's

Hey Y'all! Not sure if this is "against the rules" here in "official" tape trading land, but I am going for it anyways. I have about 50 DAT tapes (mostly SBD's - each tape is either a "whole show" or 2 sets from different shows or some combination of both) ranging from 1966 to 1995 and mostly 198?'s and 199?'s. So, this is A LOT of great music (probably about 80 hours worth). I still listen to the magic of "the boy's" but simply do not have the time or the drive to do anything with these DAT's and would love to see them continue to circulate. These are DAT's that came through some "close to home" channels when I lived in Northern Cali! Here is my offer.... I am looking for someone who actually has a functional well maintained DAT machine who will take these tapes and make it their duty to make them into digital files / CD's to spread throughout the land. In return, I would simply like to receive a CD copy of certain select shows as you do them over time. I realize that this is quite a commitment for someone and that it would have to be someone who is good at following through with a project like this. One way of looking at it is, with 50 tapes, you could treat yourself to 1 new DEAD DAT dessert a week for almost a whole year! It would simply take downloading the show to HD and then burning some CD's. Let's get creative and work out the details! Please email me directly at Antonio@SoundingSpirit.com to respond. does anyone out there have the recording of The Dead at Blossom Music Center in Ohio July 2004 Wave That Flag summer tour. I forget the exact day sorry. I have been looking for it ever since the show and have been unable to find it. If you don't have it, do you know where I may be able to find it. I am willing to pay. Thanks in advance!!!

Vintage Tape Decks need a good home

Long time taper here thru the 70s and 80s. I have several tape decks that could use a good home. Nakamichi 1000 and a Tandberg TCD330 that need work. Also a Teac 2300SD Reel to Reel that works fine but could prob use a little tune up. before putting on ebay or FB, wanted to put it our to our community. Anyone out there that knows how to repair or tune up? I am in New Jersey.

Looking for Tapes

Hello there,

I am new to the dead.net forum and am struggling with the private message function - I keep getting an Access Denied error.

I would be interested in any tapes that someone may be looking to re-home and would be more than happy to pay any costs to ship them to me.

I’m a “new” dead head (born in 1990 so I have no choice but to be I suppose). I grew up on American Beauty and Workingmans, picked up guitar in the 90s with heavy GD influence on songs, and got to see Dead & Co at Alpine in 2016.

I have a bunch of old school music equipment both for listening and recording, and want to add some tapes to my collection. Getting harder now it feels like as everything GD is mainstream again (post Sphere even more so?) I snagged a box of reel to reel live recordings for $40 back in 2020; not sure you could find a single reel for that on the internet now.

Im just looking to have these for my collection and experience the music as it’s been experienced over the years without overpaying someone who is just out to make money off something.

Anyhow, appreciate your time, and if anyone happens to have any tapes around still, I’d be honored to add them to my collection.
